I have enjoyed teaching children to play the piano and organ for over 50 years. I use classical methods, and I have also developed my own method for instructing that makes it easier for children to learn to play quickly, through the incorporation of color into the instruction method.
(It even works for adults)

I have found that by making it easy to pick up the basics of playing quickly, students learn to enjoy making music - even before they learn the science of music notation or musical theory.

By teaching children to love making music while learning how to truly play the piano, it keeps them interested, makes them happy, and they even look forward to their piano lessons.

All learning happens more quickly and at a deeper level when students enjoy the subject matter and truly want to learn, rather than simply by rote and repetition.

About Leigh

I am a lifelong educator, church musician and choral director who has been teaching children the love of music for over 50 years. One of my piano and organ students even grew up to be the town organist for the city of Sydney Australia, and plays in the Sydney Opera House. I especially enjoy teachi

This is my first time taking any kind of vocal lessons so I was very nervous. Joseph made me feel very comfortable and really works on what I want to improve on. He is encouraging and very supportive of my ambitious singing goals. I just purchased another month's worth of lessons. Would definitely recommend.

In all things, there is ‘good’, ‘better’ and ‘best’,
My first lesson with Amanda was excellent. She clearly falls in the
‘best’ category.
November 6, 2019
I have to say, Amanda’s guidance & cooperation is phenomenal! She is very patient & understanding about giving instructions, directions, tips as well as the consideration of small praise for new accomplishments, preventing any discouragement. She gives the satisfaction of accepting new challenges that are feasible & ensured it was within my understanding, not to mention to focus on the basics & create that strong foundation of yourself. Even when I was just learning something or not, I will always walk out with something new to help me play ukulele. It’s very exciting & the wonderful vibe that she gives makes it that much better and to look forward for my next lesson!

"Ryan teaches me a lot of good fundamentals and taught me chords I didn't even know existed. He is very nice and does not judge me even if I ask a stupid question.
He also teaches me how to play cool rifts and licks on my guitar and teaches rock songs that a lot of people from the 90's might know. He is great and I totally recommend him for anyone who is looking for a great guitar teacher!
~ Student of Ryan S.
If you are new to online lessons- they are amazing! Ryan shows up every week on time via Skype right into my living room from across the country! I don't have to get in the car and drive to lessons or wait. I usually get the dinner dishes done while my sons takes lessons- a major time saver for our busy family! RYAN is awesome! He is a great communicator with my son and with me as well. I receive weekly e-mails with material for lessons. Ryan is kind, encouraging and has really helped foster my son's love for guitar. I highly recommend him!

"I first came across Danielle working on her home. After finding out she teaches singing my eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store! Where do I sign up. I've been playing acoustic guitar for 7 years and enjoy writing songs only thing missing was my voice to sing them. I have always thought people with great voices had them to begin with, wrong in most cases. She has helped me so much from the basic level of proper breathing, voice control and song writing. Her amazing partner Alicia is right there to help produce your songs at a professional quality! Be aware Danielle will get into your heart and soul and you might need some kleenex! Thx Danielle for getting me out of the singing closet! :)"

"I have been literally to 4 youtube teachers and though I have nothing bad to say about any of them, i know that I need a long term teacher that I can see myself growing with as a singer. Our personalities just meshed. She knows how to make one feel comfortable. She is very encouraging to students with zero self confidence like me. I think I have found the teacher I’ve been looking for in Elena! i’m excited to see what she can do to transform my voice. Her resume as well as her reviews( students spoke highly of her character) are what stood out for me out of thousands of teachers online! It is also important that I love to listen to my teacher’s voice and i love her voice😊"
