Hello! I absolutely love to write songs! If you are looking for someone who can help you take your songwriting to the next level, or even if you are a beginner who doesn't know where to begin, I can help you succeed! I am proficient in music theory and I am a musician with over 20 years of experience as a classical vocalist, harpist, ukulele player, guitarist, and have been teaching for the past few years--and I absolutely love seeing my students' musical potential become realized!

Songwriting is a beautiful, clever, cathartic, and therapeutic form of expression. There are many different ways to begin the process, especially given your talent--whether you are proficient in guitar playing, harp playing, singing, or anything else. I've been writing songs for over 20 years. I’ve studied with Jai Josefs and taking many songwriting courses. One of my songs one best new song from The West Coast Songwriters Association.

I’ve also been playing guitar for 40 years, teaching for over 15 years. I understand music theory and how to incorporate it into songwriting.

My lessons tailored to the student. We’ll create a Lesson plan with goals and a have live performance opportunity quarterly.

There are a million ways to write songs. I'm a librettist for a few composers and can help you find words and ways to feel and hear words. We can work in rhymed and open unrhymed song writing. You can write from your dreams, your rage, your unhappiness, your love and fulfillment, from nature. Idealism, Disappointments. It is all excellent source. We shake it up and keep at it. It's super fun.
