Music Performance is a combination of singing and acting. I work with young people and adults of all ages teaching classic technique combined with performance skills. Lessons start with exercises to improve breath control to support your voice and help you sing on key. Vocal exercises will help you develop the quality and resonance of your voice and increase your range making it easier to hit those high notes. You will also learn how to use phrasing as you sing to put feeling into the words and connect with the audience. As your voice develops you will build a repertoire of music that you like to sing that you can use for auditions. The lessons are fun and very effective,

Public performance of a musical instrument requires special attention and training in your pursuit of mastering your instrument. I will coach you in confidence-building, in overcoming performance anxiety and in developing technical skills which will allow you to perform for recitals or for auditions flawlessly.

To be a performer, one most delve deep into ones self, to bring forth what is authentic and true. This process requires allowing oneself to be vulnerable. so as to share themselves with their audience. I have developed numerous techniques to aid the student on their journey of self expression.

Whether singing is your chosen career or just a treasured hobby, my goal is to help you succeed! I offer voice lessons to students of all backgrounds, ages and a variety of styles. I take a healthy, classical vocal approach to encourage freedom, ease and power in the voice. A student of Bel Canto, Alexander Technique and Yoga, I incorporate a full body approach to singing. My students range from amateurs to Broadway talent. I have prepared students to perform on stage, book agents, and to be featured in television and film. My younger students have been accepted into top performing arts programs such as The Professional Performing Arts School, Interlochen Center for the Arts and various conservatory programs.
