Kevin J. has been writing, recording, and playing music for over 25 years. Music is meant to be fun and it is his goal to help others enjoy music. He has been a teacher for 11 years and has composed hundreds of songs. He is passionate about teaching his students the songs they want to learn, no matter the difficulty. He specialized in guitar, drums, and song writing.

Kevin has a great way of encouraging others to keep going no matter what challenge is in front of them.

Drumming is one of my greatest passion in life. I have experience playing and teaching in all settings and styles. I tailor my approach for each student and have tons of supplemental material to level up your playing in no time!

I am very comfortable with all major areas of Percussion: Drumset, Concert Percussion, Marching Percussion, Latin Percussion, Steel Pan, Percussion Ensemble. I work to find effective ways to have people discover their hidden talents and show them how to build skills to play at whatever level they want.

I teach various styles of music including, jazz, fusion, funk, latin,and rock. I teach rudiments and classical drum technique utilizing various method books in order to facilitate proper technique, coordination,chart reading, and overall musicianship.

With over 15 years drumming professionally I can bring your drumming to the next level by working on things like stick control, speed, dynamics, rudiments and much much more.

As a Beginners course, this is suitable for complete beginners who have never played drums before. Its also helpful for self-taught drummers who want to go through all the basics and fill in any gaps in their playing and improve their technique.
