Kevin asked pertinent questions about my background and used that information to tailor the first lesson. He went beyond the scheduled 30 minutes to provide a complete and coherent beginning to my studies: the extra time did not upset my schedule and I appreciated his going beyond to get me off to a good start. Kevin had a lot of stuff to present yet allowed me to interrupt with questions, which he knowledgeably answered. His personality is relaxed and friendly. Observing him with another student before my lesson, I saw that he offered criticism considerately.
My first lesson was a good experience (4 stars). I don't know if he is the best ever (5 stars), but he must be darn close.

I couldn't of picked a better voice instructor!

I've always been a confident songwriter but when it came to singing I struggled; especially with pitch. Thats when I started my lessons with Mark and right away knew he was the right instructor. Instead of making me follow some completely pre-scripted lesson plan, Mark helped me correct my pitch and overall singing while practicing songs I had written myself.

I've been working with him for almost two years now and I've noticed significant improvements across the board and have gained so much more confidence in my singing abilities. Enough that I actually just finished recording a 13-track album of songs all written and sung by me. I can't thank Mark enough for helping me follow my dreams and for continuing to help me grow as a singer.

Candis is a highly professional and passionate educator. Her ability to teach comprehension and foundational skills to young readers is incredibly strong due to her specialized training in some of the nation's most premier charter schools and her ability to teach music is even stronger. Her personal talent combined with her formal experience working as a classroom teacher make her an ideal music teacher for any student.
