Robert M.

Exeter, NH

About Robert

Robert's exemplary and diverse career all began when he was a very small boy. His magical, musical journey began with his Grandfather, Donald Mcullick, a country singer/guitarist, who spent the 1950's touring and performing with blockbuster artists such as Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. Grandpa would take his young protégé out to the swing under the apple tree in the backyard and show him songs on an old acoustic guitar. He would later give that guitar to Robert. That guitar was the key to the music box of Robert's life. A life long dedicated to the art and craft of music. Robert's high school years were very non-traditional. While most students spent time at football games and pep rallies, Robert spent his time performing in pit orchestras and composing for local theater ...

My three granddaughters and I are taking lessons with Ben. I asked each of the girls to give me three words about Ben and we all agreed. He is patient, fun and funny and, they added, "I really like him and he knows a lot about teaching and playing the piano." I was a teacher and professor for many years, and I know good teaching when I see it. Ben is a very good teacher. Not only is he patient and at ease with his students, he seems always to be aware of each of them and able to respond to their needs. I'm impressed and feel fortunate to have found someone who is also responsible and reliable, and takes his work seriously. It is a great pleasure to work with Ben and we all look forward to our weekly lesson.

Top notch teacher

My son has been taking lessons from Ben now for a little over a month. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and reliability of Ben. I figured it would take a lot to keep a 16 year old boy who is a beginner totally interested in piano but Ben has managed to do just that. My son actually looks forward to his weekly lessons and practices without hesitation and I can only attribute that to the teaching techniques of Ben. If anyone is contemplating on choosing Ben for their or their child's instructor, hesitate no further. He is one of the best.

I think the 5 star description sums it up nicely, 'Best instructor ever'. I've worked with Chris for a few months now and his knowledge, friendliness, and ability to to teach are astounding! He teaches in a very dynamic way, adjusting the lesson on the fly to make sure you are learning what you need to know, when you need to know it, and at a pace that works well. Definitely recommended!

Stephanie K.

Portsmouth, NH

About Stephanie

Hi, I'm Stephanie and I am just starting out as a piano teacher for beginners. I'm currently available to teach lessons at your home. I took private piano lessons from age 6 to 18 and received additional lessons in Jazz/Blues for another year. I enjoy teaching my friends and seeing them improve and I would love to teach more! Throughout my university education, I volunteered in teaching elementary school-aged children weekly and have become very comfortable working with children. My lesson plans will be personalized to each student and will focus on music theory. I believe a good foundation and understanding of music is the most important part of learning a new instrument. The better you understand the instrument, the more you will enjoy playing it! I will also make recordings ...
