Steve began his musical journey on the piano as a child, later moving on to explore clarinet and trumpet in band before discovering the French horn in high school. Though he earned his bachelor of music in horn performance at CSU, Sacramento, he never gave up the piano, teaching students and accompanying choirs throughout college, and earning scholarships for both instruments. Steve has played for a number of musical groups, from orchestras, chamber groups and community bands to being a pit musician in musical theater and opera.
