"Reliable, patient, clear and "fun"
Robert has been reliable and patient with our 12 year old. I asked her opinion for this review and she said, "He shows
me exactly what to do and makes it fun. I wish he taught my language arts class.""

"Lindsey is a very capable teacher who is a pleasure to work with.
Lindsey has an excellent manner of communicating her teaching method and applying it ef
fectively. I really appreciate her level of patience with me and how open she is to experiment with different exercises and songs as well as always keeping in mind the goals I have for the lessons (extended vocal range and learning how to "belt out a song"). I am very pleased with having her as my voice instructor and would definitely recommend her to anyone hoping to increase their singing capabilities."

"My 8 year old son has been taking piano lessons from Ruth for about 6 month now. She is wonderful with him. They do as much giggling as they do playing t
he piano but he is learning so much! My son will likely never be a spectacular pianist but he will learn to love music and playing for his own enjoyment from Ruth. She is giving him a tremendous gift that could last the rest of his life."

"I first started taking from Doreene about three years ago. I live in a place where there seem to be absolutely NO good voice teachers, and I was absolutel
y lost when it came to technique. Luckily, I was recommended to her by a friend and have been taking lessons over webcam ever since. All I can say is Wow! What an improvement! I had no connection into my chest voice when I first began taking and was terrified to sing anything other than classical. Now I feel confident singing pop, theater, Broadway, you name it, because I have faith in my voice and I know that she's always right. You'll never have to worry about being embarrassed about your voice when you sing for her or anything. She's fun, friendly, happy, and she knows what she's talking about. Even if you don't plan on being famous one day, you will love being able to use all three parts of your voice and will develop faith in your own singing, something that we always try for. Thanks so much Doreene!!"

"Easy going guy, totally prepared for lesson when I arrived. Had printouts and a folder for me ready to take home for practicing. He was understanding of
my changing schedule and happy to move our lesson around to accommodate.
Super encouraging, I would recommend him to anyone just starting to learn an instrument or maybe having trouble getting past a technique issue. Gave me gentle reminders to correct technique issues early, which is invaluable. Unfortunately, due to a job change, I can't take lessons anymore, but when I come back I will be taking them from Brian again."

"I take Piano and Vocal lessons from Steven for almost two years now, and have no complaints about him. He pushes me to do better with my work and helps me
understand things that I couldn't with past teachers. On piano, he helps with my learning by ear, as well as reading music. On my vocals, he helps me perfect my singing with exercises and keeping an inner glow to my face that most successful singers have. I extremely recommend trying him out!"

"Shaun very knowledgeable and intuitive with his teaching. I think if I continue with my studies I will become the talented musician that I want to be."
I am a music educator. I received my Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Central Florida in 2011. My higher education started in the Fall of 2006 when I began attending Daytona Beach Community College. My two years there were spent fully engaged in all activities. I finished my GED requirements while participating in many ensembles like the Ormond Beach Symphony Orchestra, Daytona Beach Community College Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, Falcon Pans (steel drum ensemble), Pit Orchestra for musicals, and Choir. All of these ensembles helped me increase my awareness of many diffe
rent teaching and directing styles. I enjoyed participating in the college’s annual Medieval Yuletide Feast while playing the trombone, tuba, and singing in the choir. These experiences augmented my ability to manage my time while having the opportunity to go to school. Almost every summer since 2005 my church has help send me to Port-du-paix, Haiti, for two weeks at a time. There we are encouraged to do many things involving teaching children, feeding the elderly and needy, and meeting new people that have made a difference in each of our lives. One of the opportunities I had during the summer of 2006 was helping teach two rehearsals of a small brass ensemble. The teacher who was heading the project had brought many donated instruments with her from Kentucky, and distributed them to the students prior to my arrival. She didn't know much about brass instruments (saxophonist), so I got to step in and take the players aside to teach the basics. Even though there was a language barrier, I was able to communicate using hand gestures, my little knowledge of Creole, and the universal language of music. This was one of the best times I have had in my life. Another great accomplishment I have had is being a contra player in the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2008 season. This opportunity ensured my discipline to tough through hard. The sole act of carrying a brass instrument that weighs over 25 lbs around all summer is a difficult task, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I also got to meet many people all over the United States that play the same instrument I do and have a similar life as mine. We had the overall score of fifth place, but our hard work and perseverance is obvious in our finals performance video. I am a proud sister of Sigma Alpha Iota. I have held important positions including Corresponding Secretary and have headed many chair positions. The sisters of Zeta Tau are a very supportive group full of diversity. Having our weekly meetings and formal business meetings keep me up to date with Robert’s Rules of Order. I have transferred the things I have learned from these meetings to other organizations like CMENC. At the time when I was leaving the college level, I receive the Sword of Honor from our province officer. Every Spring I attend FMEA in Tampa. I made many very important connections with other educators and soon to be educators. I also taught three years at a Title I elementary school in Osceola County, FL. It was a very tough three years, but I am grateful for all of the strategies and steps I've learned to make me a better teacher. In my second year at the school, I received the honor of being voted Teacher of the Year for our school. That was such a humbling time in my career.
*** Lesson Details *** Expect to be engaged in learning. That said, I love teaching, and I will work hard to motivate you. Improvement only comes when you've put in the effort, and I'll hold you to that. Each lesson is personalized, depending on the individual (vocational/ avocational).
*** Studio Equipment *** Main Room Music: piano, two row of buttons on her accordion, she has all instruments, parents can sit in on lesson, chairs, one couch
*** Travel Equipment *** I provide music stands. The student must either buy the music on his/her own or purchase it from me. I would contact the parent or student prior to the lesson.
*** Specialties *** I am a certified music teacher in the state of Florida k-12 (ESOL Certified). When it comes to the instruments I teach, my specialization is low brass (I am a tuba player), and the rest I have taught up to an intermediate level.

Great personality and very upbeat. Could use a little more structure and I maybe a book for the new students. Probably very good with students that have some experience already and can improvise.
With a bachelors degree in music from Rutgers University, I began teaching guitar over 20 years ago. I have recorded with Larry Coryell and many other artists over the course of my career. My teaching style is direct and to the point. We will go through all the necessary theory of music and apply it to the fretboard to unleash your creativity. If you are looking to advance your style beyond what you thought you could not play, lets get started with some lessons. With certification on ProTools, I have recorded and worked with Jon Anderson(Yes), as a producer and engineer. I can teach you the
art of recording and editing for music production.

Dennis is an all around great teacher. He is easy and comfortable to work with, but knows exactly how and when to get things done. Most importantly for me, Dennis was able to let me know which things I needed to work on to better my musicianship while also helping me figure out how to utilize what I had already accomplished to achieve new goals. As a metal player getting into jazz improvisation I had some really strong skills and many things that needed serious work. Dennis was able to help me use my strengths from previous experience to become better at something entirely new.
Mindful of tradition, but more interested in innovation, Dennis has a vast knowledge of modern styles, chord progressions, chord shapes, and scales you can't just learn from any guitar teacher. You can hear it on his record; Dennis is just as much of an individual in his playing as he is in his teaching. Unfortunately due to relocation I can no longer take lessons from Dennis but he got the ball rolling for me into new worlds of guitar playing and musical thinking that has been incredibly valuable to me.

I decided to re-kindle my guitar playing skills after putting down the instrument for several years and not knowing what results to expect. I was amazed to find my ability to play quickly returning while taking lessons with Dennis. He was patient, encouraging and always professional and courteous. I am now practicing every day and continue to progress. I would encourage anyone seeking a skilled and talented instructor to sign up with Dennis. He has versatility with many different styles of playing and accomplished at them all.

Take Lessons From This Guy!
I was fortunate to meet Dennis and partake in six months of intensive weekly sessions which were no-nonsense. My instrument of choice is the acoustic and electric guitar.
Dennis adds a shade of color to the audible realm of musical expression that invites all practitioners to give ear to Dennis' command of the guitar. Ask him what he's been working on lately and he will show you something; it's more than enough to inspire you to keep learning and discover your own musical voice.
Dennis was humble in sharing his credentials and is a continuous student of learning himself. He clearly shows no bias and imparts his knowledge to anyone willing to learn.
Due to relocation, we could no longer meet up in person for lessons. But now that Dennis is geared up to provide teaching services online, I can still effectively take lessons regardless of location.
I have been teaching for 41 years and opened 14 music schools. Ages 3-96. Taught and performed in Michigan, Arizona and Florida.
*** Lesson Details *** Everyone has the ability to learn. Do not let someone tell you different. It is either the wrong teacher or wrong method for you if you are having difficulty. It is never the student. I use many combined methods to fit the individual student accoring to their skill level, desires and overcoming any difficulties. I have two recitals a year and video tape them so the student can see and hear their progress.
In addition to piano
I also teach keyboard, organ, improve, stand up comedy, recording, and ballroom dance ( won grand nationals in tango ).
*** Studio Equipment *** professional studio seating for parents yamaha studio stage w/ piano seating for parents vidoe and audio recording
*** Travel Equipment *** They need to have an instrument at home.
*** Specialties *** Each students course is custom designed to ther needs and goals

Cares about her students
I just wanted to take the time to say Thank you for allowing my child the opportunity to sing the solo between productions. I think she did a great job and it allowed her to experience what it feels like to sing/perform in front of a large group.
You are a fantastic teacher and I am glad we found you!

Great vocal coach!
From the first moment I started retraining my voice with her, singing has become a joy again. Her teaching skills are seamless, her personality a delight. With her use of visualization and exercises she inspires confidence, and after a few weeks I am improving more than I have in years!

Fernando is a highly recommended teacher for drums. Beyond his kindness and his supportiveness, both of which are very genuine and aid in increasing the rate at which you grow (no anxiety from lessons, much confidence), his care pushes you to set goals and to keep setting goals to succeed. Underlying the foundation he sets for drums is a foundation for music -- he prepares you for all styles, so that you can be an adaptive player, but not only a mechanically skilled one; one with feeling and purpose. He is a great drums player, musician, teacher, person: take lessons with him; he will be infectious!

It has been a Great teacher, has a way of explaining awesome, he not only teaches you how to be a good photographer, it incorporates one, I have it as an example, as inspiration, being a good professional. A good teacher and a great person, understands and supports its students, had not day nor schedule to answer my questions, helped me to have the thought that I have today about photography, I am eternally grateful for the photography teacher I have!

These are my true thoughts...
Im here to say that he is an awesome teacher, not only because he is nice, or because he is friendly. But because he really helped me to learn a lot of things in Photography. He helped and still helps me understand what photography really means, and he taught me a lot of new things. He is also really patient and has a WONDERFUL personality. He became a friend, not only a teacher. And that is awesome because it shows that he really cares. I love how his classes are one on one, and I feel that I've learned so much because of this. I thank you so much Fernando! YOU ARE AWESOME!
