Christopher A. Mount Pleasant, SC

About Christopher

I am available nationwide via Skype or through Google Hangouts for Guitar, bass and Violin lessons. I have performed at the French Quarter Jazz festival at age 18 and alongside Russell Malone during the season's conclusion at the Fine Arts Center in downtown Atlanta. I attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN. I studied guitar under John Pell and Paul Abrams. While in school I majored in Commercial Music with an emphasis on music business. I found an internship with Yamaha musical instruments where I maintained instruments for players like John Hiatt, Christopher Cross, Peter Frampton, Tommy Sims, Drew Zingg, Kenny Greeneberg, Larry Carlton, Skunk Baxter and Martin Taylor. Sitting in on rehearsals and sessions with these artists provided insight and experience no college course ...

We could not have asked for a more capable, professional, or knowledgeable teacher for my son as he prepared for his audition after not singing publicly for two years. My son was immediately comfortable and at ease, and she helped him tremendously. We will continue to use her as needs arise in the future. She is tremendous!

My daughter has been too self-conscious to sing in front of anyone but me, despite the fact that she has a very pretty voice. After just a few lessons with Corrine, she is so much more confident. I like that Corrine took time to get to know her and find out what my daughter liked doing, what music she liked, etc. I think Corrine is a fabulous music teacher!!

First Lesson went well with 2 kids and a mom

Corrine was skillful at redirecting 2 young children and keeping them interested and focused on the lesson, while making it interesting. This was our first lesson and we will definitely continue. Will write more as they progress.
