Jessa D. Cumming, GA

About Jessa

At eight years old my great-aunt offered to pay for me to take an extracurricular activity and a little voice whispered to me - take piano lessons. As soon as I started lessons I was recognized for my talent. I taught my skills at the piano only 4 years after that, teaching my siblings the basics of what I already knew. And I never stopped. I was mentored by one of the foremost teachers in all of Vermont, USA. She taught me about how to successfully teach young pianists to learn the piano. Today I teach piano in my home to a growing number of students. *** Lesson Details *** Students should feel relaxed with me and enjoy the time we take to learn the piano. I tailor my style to each student. Some students need immediate correction and forthright instruction, while others need patience as

Great Teacher!!

My 10 year old Son, has been taking lessons from Jessa for about 6 weeks now - he has learnt in leaps and bounds from Jessa. She is very patient, kind and very precise in explaining to my son, she is very clear and has a great way with children. I have appreciated her professionalism, and especially helping him believe in himself and build his self confidence. This has been a very positive experience in many ways. I highly recommend Jessa as a piano teacher - we love her!!!
Thomas B. Gainesville, GA

About Thomas

Music has been the primary focus since second grade. After completing a Masters in Music Education from Florida State, I have directed High school chorus, and served in the music ministry in a few churches. I have taught piano and guitar to ages 5 through adult for around 8 years. My focus in teaching is to help you make your instrument one in which you can enjoy your entire life. I start where you are, beginner through advanced, and assist in making music a passion in your life as it has been for me. I currently serve as Assistant Director of Worship Arts at Gainesville FUMC where I direct multiple groups, play organ and piano in worship, manage youth music and support in the overall worship arts ministry. *** Travel Equipment *** Student needs to provide the instrument.

Kyungee M. Duluth, GA

About Kyungee

I have been first trained as a professional opera singer as a child in Korea. For many years, I have performed on stage. When I came to America, I have continued to pursue education in voice (and piano) at Troy University and at Baptist College of Florida while seeking other degrees. In addition to my main focus on vocal training, I am professionally trained to play instruments such as piano, guitar, flute, and violin. I have learned to play piano and guitar to initially accompany my own singing, but I have continued to study these instruments to this day. I have been a main church pianist, wedding pianist, collaboration pianist, and etc. For flute and violin, I have been a member of ensemble groups and orchestra (and symphonic band) and performed on various occasions. My grandson's best piano teacher

My grandson loves Mrs. Kyungee style of teaching. She is nice and knowledgeable, inspiring, and friendly. She is the right person to teach my grandson. Her passion for music is contagious. She inspires confidence and hard work which is the road to success.
Her daughter is her legacy. At the end of the my grandson's first piano lesson her daughter was gracious to play for us. Her performance was so impressive that it brought tears to my eyes.
I want to thank both of them from the bottom of my heart!

Highly recommended teacher

I am in my mid-30s and picking up Mandolin for the first time without much background in music. Scott has been really great to learn from, teaching me not only the basics of scales and chords but he also has me working on songs and solos which I never thought I'd be able to do so early. I would highly recommend Scott.

I've been taking guitar lessons across the country since 1975, and Mark is the best instructor I've ever had. His expertise on the instrument is only surpassed by his ability to make something complicated appear simple for the student. I've had more fun taking lessons and practicing in the past 6 months as Mark's student than I have in the previous 40 years. I highly recommend him.
Steve F. Lawrenceville, GA

About Steve

Steve was born in Joliet, IL and at the young age of 10, he discovered his love of music. A music program for his class with “live” musicians playing real instruments ignited his life long vocation. From that day to this, his fascination with music has only gotten stronger. After 5 years of accordion lessons Steve began to take an interest in the guitar and started taking lessons. Through the years Steve has not only developed a love for the guitar, but the love of teaching the guitar. At 22, he got into his first road band and spent the next 8 years playing concerts sharing the stage with many of the great “name” bands on tour as well. Bands such as Blood, Sweat & Tears, Sugarloaf and Iron Butterfly are just a few to mention. When he came off the road Steve and his brother opened a ...
