I am well qualified in Psychology and can help with anything from research methods and statistics to child development.
I like to get to know my students and understand what they need, and then guide them to the knowledge rather than just telling them the answers.

I have tutored for more than 300 families in the Greater Atlanta area and overseas. My students generally see substantial improvement in their scores. Preparation works in a big way! I isolate the problem areas, and my students and I spend time working on the tough ones. We also - just as crucially - spend time making certain that we are acquiring as many points as we can on the easy and medium difficulty problems for the student. We engage in 1) developing test-taking strategies, 2) learning the level of difficulty of the test, 3) review all content and concepts, and 4) practice, practice, practice!
I have tutored part-time and full-time for more than 10 years in the Atlanta area. I have taught students online from as far flung as Hong Kong. I tutor in-person and online. I meet my students either at their homes, at a Starbucks, or at a library. I have had great success in standardized test

I remember preparing for college and feeling so stressed about taking the SATs. Sure, there’s a study book but it’s huge and can be so overwhelming. Some schools offer SAT prep classes, but for me, I have always done better with one-on-one attention. In being your SAT tutor, I hope to make this process less overwhelming. I will teach you test-taking techniques, what kind of questions to expect, and essay prep.

My previous ten years’ experience in tutoring High School Math and my education have made me a capable and experienced tutor in Math especially Algebra. My teaching will have tangible results from the get-go. Most importantly, I will create an interest in the subject that will help my students to take ‘serious interest’ in it. That will be my greatest contribution to my students. With the new motivation and interest, together we can make solid progress to the satisfaction of my students and their parents/guardians. As I have done many times before my students will have at least one letter grade improvement. However, if one follows my direction religiously, getting ‘A’ in Algebra will be within reach. That’s what I strive for.
Fundamentals or building block is the first thing that I teach my students who are struggling in Algebra while those who have a good grasp on fundamentals are taught intermediate to advanced level concepts and various approaches to handle solving problems.
I had an education in a Masters in Engineering and a Masters in Information Systems from Southern Illinois University. I worked in the Information Systems field for more than two decades. I have a solid passion for tutoring Math. Currently, I am starting to teach Algebra1. The ability to explain
