About Rene
Knowing at the age of 5 that music was my life, by being brought up surrounded by praise music and gospel, my early exposure to music helped me to find every Instrument and style just my thing! I wanted to play everything and learn all aspects of music. I started with singing in the children's choir and then developed into piano and music theory. At the age of 12 I began to learn classical guitar, and at 15 took on various styles like Flamenco, Jazz and Rock. I graduated from High School having played in the school band achieving recognition In national Institutions Like IAJE (International Association for Jazz Education) and state band finals. I was also composing from a very early age, and at 18 released my first album (self-titled) which can still be heard and purchased today through various music outlets, since i have released over 15
albums with various ensembles and bands. In college I already knew from my previous experience that I wanted to teach and pass on the joy that music brought to my life. I studied Music Theory and Jazz and finished my degree in Music Education. I have been teaching all in all for about 14 yrs. And I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with my students learning as much from them, as them from me. I am looking forward to meeting new and eager students who really want to bring their inner music out to share with the rest of us music aficionados! and develop their skills to the peak of their abilities.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching method ranges depending on the student. I believe in my experience that everyone learns differently, therefore everyone develops at their own pace. I try to find key strengths in each student and expose this to their advantage, using their abilities to further develop their skills, this method has shown the most promising results and students usually find themselves playing and performing just a couple of months after their first lessons. Part of my method involves a lot of performance and recital opportunities to help break any fears and inhibitions a student may bring with them. Music is about sharing, so an early exposure to this method helps to strengthen and stabilize a core acceptance of a students style and path, giving them and those close to them a very clear picture of their development and achievements.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Has all instruments at both his home and college studio

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide lesson material, song charts and a progression scale. I require student to have an Instrument and recommended technique literature.

*** Specialties ***
My classical training began in High School with Influences in Segovia, and Romero I studied classical for 4 yrs. and trained in Jazz and Improvisation with performances In Big Band and group ensemble. Also sang and played in the school gospel choir.

****Personal Statement*****

If you needed a reason

There is no question that music touches us instantly and activates images, emotions and memories that linger with us throughout our lives. As a casual listener or an obsessive music elitist, there are times in our lives when we get blown away by a sound so unique our entire body vibrates and resonates with the touch of something out of this world. I can honestly say when this happens to me I feel as close to a spiritual connection than anything I have experienced otherwise. I believe it is these exact events that have triggered my need to be completely involved in the making, performing and consuming of music. The creative process, to me, is the single obvious reason we exist in this world. We create and share, learn and interpret, build on previous ideas and inspire others to perfect upon this process. It is no doubt a very humbling experience to realize you are part of it all. During this process you come to realize how important you are as an Individual, how there is no other vessel like you in this world, nor has there ever been or ever will. You are here now and your voice, your talent, your gift is an instrument to the great choir of the human spirit. No one but you can relate this, a reason to be, to create, to give.

About Michael
Hello everyone, I am Michael - I am currently in school at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY pursuing my doctoral degree in vocal performance and literature. I have sung all over the world in operas, musicals and with professional choirs. I enjoy teaching all levels of singing and love to inspire my students to reach their full potential. Singing should be fun and it can become even more exciting when the fundamentals start to fall into place. I am a casual but professional teacher and like to tailor my teaching to each one of my students. I like to make singing a very concrete and sensation based learning experience so students can rely on more than just their ears to guide themselves. Good singing is good singing, period - any genre ,any style... it all stems from the basics and setting up a strong foundation on which t
o build the voice.

American baritone Michael most recently performed the role of Lieutenant Audebert in Silent Night by Kevin Puts with Buffalo Opera in New York. Other recent credits include: Sam in Trouble in Tahiti by Leonard Bernstein at the Aspen Opera Center, Marcello in La Boheme by Puccini in San Diego, CA and Tom in Gershiwin’s, Blue Monday with Opera de Tijuana in Mexico. Michael will return to the Aspen Opera Center this summer to sing Frederick Egerman in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music. Most recently on the concert stage he was the baritone soloist for the Monteverdi Vespro della Beata Vergine at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City under the direction of Dr. Craig Jessop and Haydn’s Seasons with the Eastman Philharmonia in Rochester, NY. In 2016 Michael received the second-place award in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Rossini Competition adjudicated by the famous Rossini tenor, Rockwell Blake. Michael is currently pursuing a doctorate in music performance and literature at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY where in 2019 will sing the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

I started lessons with Michael having done both contemporary voice and years of choir. But prior to training with Michael, I'd never really been coached as to how to properly sing in a classical style. He's allowed me to find an entire element of my voice I didn't know I had and made it incredibly straightforward to progress. I now absolutely love singing in a way I didn't previously think I would.

Elena was able to teach someone 500 miles away the basics to a slew of different Latin ballroom dances (salsa, marengue, bachata, cumbia step, etc.) In just a few lessons I was able to feel comfortable enough with the steps and timing to be able to dance in public with others! She was very amazing and was willing to accommodate to my needs as a student. She gave plenty of reference material as well as songs so that I'd be able to practice when not taking lessons. I would highly recommend her as a teacher to anyone who is wanting to learn Latin Ballroom dance, but doesn't know where to start!

About Jeremy
Are you working on a part for a play or film and need assistance? If you are new to acting, I can teach you what it takes to be an actor and how to bring a character to life. Do you need to prepare for an audition? Do you want to learn about the business of acting? Script analysis? I can help.

I can help with your audition for performing arts high schools. My students have gotten into the schools of their choice.

If you have training or are a working actor, I can help take you to the next level.

I am a working actor, published playwright and award winning filmmaker. I graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where I majored in drama. I taught Method Acting, Acting for Camera, Improvisation as well as other classes at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York. My
students, both at the Institute and from private coaching, have appeared in independent stage and film productions, TV shows, commercials and Hollywood films.

Acting is the art of bringing a character to life. I use the Lee Strasberg Method, my original exercises and a fun and serious demeanor to help actors express themselves as artists and gain the confidence and skills they need in order to book acting jobs.

My book, "The Young Actor's Handbook", is published by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books. "The Young Actor's Handbook" ignites the beginning actor's creative soul with acting exercises, acting theory, writing exercises and insight into what it means to be an actor. This is a pragmatic manual that guides and informs the young actor, beginning actor, novice acting teacher or anyone who wants to understand acting.

"Jeremy Kruse's book, "The Young Actor’s Handbook", leads the young actor on the correct path. Jeremy is an experienced acting teacher who has broken down acting in an academic way while nurturing the soul of the actor. He understands the emotional aspects of good acting. I commend Jeremy and believe he has accomplished quite a feat in writing "The Young Actors Handbook." - Vincent D'Onofrio

Greetings! My name is Ethan E. and I have been working as a professional musician, composer/arranger, and teacher for the past 5 years. I tour nationally and internationally as lead guitarist with Minneapolis's very own Har Mar Superstar and am an active composer/arranger specializing in music for media, film, and anything orchestral. I have an extensively wide range of experience and knowledge in my specialized areas; having done work for the MN Orchestra, the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, the Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra, written music of nearly every style for clientele, performed and toured in a multitude of different ensembles, and have taught students aged 5 to 75!
I love passing down my knowledge and sharing my experiences with the eager student and seeing the "lightbulb going off" expression on my student's faces when something

Ethan is easy going and knows how to relate to my son who is reserved. He inspires my son to do more and dive deeper and gives constructive criticism in a way that inspires the student. My son would not have been prepared to apply to college music programs if it had not been for Ethan's knowledge of all things music, and his ability to teach and share it with my son. Because Ethan is actually out in the world making a living in the music industry and comes from a classic music school background he has so much to offer an aspiring musician and composer. And, he is on time and dependable.

Ethan is the best instructor I have had in helping me increase my skill in playing the bass guitar. He doesn't use a cookie cutter approach to instructing, but pays attention to where you are at and is very good at identifying what skills and knowledge are needed to help you move forward. Ethan is extremely talented as a musician and composer. His knowledge and understanding of music theory is impressive. I've really appreciated the opportunity to learn from him.

When I first began my search for an acting coach I was stressed out because I knew I needed help but I didn't know how to start. Luckily I found the Director, Omar. The Director began by interviewing me to see what my goals and potential were. He then developed a specific lesson plan designed around what he called "The Fundamentals" and I progressed since then. Now after a few months of the Directors support, I know confidently that I am an Actor. I learned things about human behavior and method acting that I couldn't find in any video or online source. The Director somehow made things simple to understand and I'm glad for it. I am not done with the lessons, but since he has supported me and shared his knowledge, the least I can do is share my experience. Thank you Director!

About Sam
Sam provides acting lessons for films and TV; Script break down, audition room, and character work. Get the benefits of private coaching and BOOK IT!

When not in front of the cameras, Actor Sam also lends his talent as a director for Episodic Television Shows. This fall, Sam will make his Feature Film directorial debut in the upcoming action/thriller UNTITLED PROJECT in Europe and Morocco. It will begin production in late 2019 for a release of the following year. He will also co-star in the film. In other news, Sam once more joins the Robert Rodriguez family of actors, lending his talent to the character of Stinger - the ten-foot robot in the animated feature Alita: Battle Angel, written and produced by James Cameron. He's also featured opposite actor Tom Hardy in the new Marvel adventure Venom, and, in one of his most important roles
to date, he's the lead antagonist opposite Mark Wahlberg in director Peter Berg's action/thriller Mile 22. Sam plays a special operative for a third world government determined to stop a rogue agent from revealing potential terrorist targets to the U.S. intelligence community. Currently ubiquitous in the action arena, he also played a good cop in the most recent Jack Reacher film, which starred Tom Cruise.

A product of Honduras, Vietnam, Polynesia, France, mixed with American Cherokee, Sam was born in Saigon, Vietnam, where he spent the first twelve years of his life living under communist rule. Thanks to his mother's determination and resourcefulness, he was able to move to the United States, where he grew up in New Orleans. It was not an easy life for Sam. When he first arrived in the States, he spoke no English and he was a problem child. However, as he became more settled, he learned the language and excelled in school, later attending he University of New Orleans. When the disaster of Katrina struck the city, the only work available for him was in the construction industry. Sam helped rebuild the city, then began to look into the other industry that was soon thriving: film and television.

He began to drive to auditions all over the country - putting 300,000 miles on his cars. His first break was booking two episodes of the Prison Break television series, shooting in Dallas. Early on, he was also able to book the key role of the main villain's brother in Olympus Has Fallen. He was the only member of the attacking force to sport a Fu Manchu. He also portrayed Crawford, a Thai mobster/killer in Kickboxer: Vengeance and Kickboxer: Retaliation. His character will also be featured in the third film in this action series. How tough does Sam appear on screen? He was cast as a character who could intimidate Danny Trejo in Machete Kills. It took three helicopters to take him down. Because of his resemblance to a young Trejo, Robert Rodriguez cast him as "Razor Charlie" in the From Dusk Till Dawn television series - the same character Trejo played in the original film.

Sam models his career similarly to that of Sean Bean. They mostly die their whole career thus far. So now, when Sam takes meetings with Directors/Producers and Studios, His First question is " Does my character die?" "How does he die?" Sam's additional feature credits include: Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Tracers, Savages, Dragon Eyes, The Baytown Outlaws, Let's Be Cops, Ant-Man, Our Brand Is Crisis, and Blood Out. His television credits include: Treme, Army Wives, Macgyver, NCIS: Los Angeles, Banshee, Let's Stay Together, Conan, The Messengers, Into the Badlands, Game of Silence, and he booked three episodes of Preacher, portraying the Samurai Guy. Between acting assignments, Sam can be found in his gym, where he works out with weights six days a week. He's also writing, studying cinematography and editing his latest short films.

OLIVER STONE, ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, ANTOINE FUQUA, MARTIN CAMPELL, EDWARD ZWICK-AND NOW- PETER BERG, SAM IS HONORED TO HAVE WORKED WITH THESE LEGENDARY DIRECTORS WITH SUPERB VISIONS FOR FILMOGRAPHY

Sam plans to add more to this already incredible list...
