Experienced teacher in violin for 5 years, specializing in beginner/intermediate students of all ages! Every lesson is adapted and caters to each individual students needs. We will work together to build a strong foundation in technique, sight reading, ear training, basic music theory and etc.. I have a unique background in that I didn't go to a typical 4 year conservatory, but I was able to procure a job with the First Violin Section of The Philadelphia Orchestra. I have a very practical teaching style that I believe is effective with every level of violinist. Many of my students have won auditors at every level from District and Youth Orchestras to full scholarships to major Conservatories to jobs with Major Symphony Orchestras!

My teaching philosophy is to provide each student the opportunity to find their passion, to understand who they are as an individual, and to create a sense of community within my studio family. Not only will I give them the tools they need to succeed musically, but most importantly, the tools they need to succeed in life. I want my students to be the best musicians they can be and to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. Abilities vary among each individual and I aim to take the time and the patience to understand and teach every student that comes my way. I am a patient, kind, and caring teacher who strives to show my students just how marvelous they can be.

Lessons are tailored to fit each individual student's ability and goals. I believe in challenging students while maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment. Lessons will cover music theory, technique, and solo pieces. The goal is to develop in each student the specific skills needed to play a string instrument as well as to nurture an understanding and love for music.
Lessons take place at my apartment in Southeast Denver, near Hampden and I-25. Students are expected to prepare for and participate annual studio recitals.
