About Laurelanne
I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle school English and language arts. I have professional Yoga training and enjoy incorporating aspects of that when tutoring adult, middle school, high school, and elementary students. I also uses Yoga, brain respiration and other healing techniques in my lessons as needed.

I was a member of The William Baker Festival Singers and Summer Singers since 2003 before becoming Media Relation Coordinator in 2006 and Assistant to the Music Director in 2008 and left the group in July of 2009 to pursue other musical ventures.

Every student has a potential
for greatness no matter what their strengths and weaknesses are. No matter your age or ability level I will help you set your goals and reach them. All students should want to learn. I expect my students to be prepared and have an open mind. Learning to sing is a process. I focus on building technique and a strong musical foundation and customize my lessons for every student and individual needs. I use breathing techniques and exercises that are challenging and work toward quick and accurate results. I implement a variety of exercises to improve pitch, intonation, placement, strength, and endurance. My main goal in teaching is to encourage each student to get to know their vocal strengths and weaknesses while using all their skills to their advantage producing their best sound consistently.

I've been training singers of all ages for over 30 years. My major areas of expertise vocal styling, inflections, singing with power, proper mouth position etc.

About Cyndi
Cyndi has been very successful as a singer/songwriter, artist developer, producer and teacher. Originally hailing from Dayton, Ohio, she has resided in Los Angeles for many years. She has performed all over the United States and the world as an artist singing on cruise lines such as The Royal Carribean, Carnival, NCL etc., and has shared the stage with The Jackson's, Barbara Striesand, Stevie Wonder, CeCe Winans and many others.

As a teacher, Cyndi has taught "Vocal Technique" to students of all ages ranging from 5-70 for the past 25 years. She was Youth and Young Adult Music Director for Crenshaw Christian Center, one of the largest mega churches in America, as well as A&R for their record label. As a songwriter/producer/artist developer on staff for 12 years, she produced numerous CD projects. Her song, "The Power of Faith," that s
he wrote for the Ever Increasing Faith broadcast can be heard all over the world daily on both television and radio. Because of her meticulous instruction, many of her students have gone on to obtain professional careers in the entertainment and music industry. Keisha Renee is currently a The Voice 2017 Team Blake competitor and has been back up singer and opener for the amazing R & B singer, JoJo. Keisha has also sang backups on the P Diddy 2016 Bad Boy reunion tour, she's also a member of Team Minaj as Nicki Minaj's main back up singer as well as numberous others. Julia Michaels, is currently one of America's leading songwriter/vocalist having sold 50 million copies of her songs worldwide and her newest single "Issues" has topped the Billboard chart. Julia was also the first American to ever sing for the closing ceremonies of the 2016 Olympics. Amber Riley, another of her students, was a main cast member playing "Mercedes" on the 10 year Award winning TV show, "Glee" and is currently playing the lead role of "Effie" on the Broadway musical, "Dream Girls".

As a teacher, I get immense satisfaction from seeing my students excel and fly using the techniques and tools that I have taught them," Cyndi says beaming with pride. "My students have done tremendous things in the industry and it is my pleasure to continue to pass down the nuggets of wisdom and skill that I've obtained from over 30 years in the entertainment business."

Cyndi's training began at age 8 where she studied classical piano for 6 years. By age 15, she and her brother released their first independent single which did reasonably well locally. By age 19, while studying music at Ohio University, she along with her brother won "Right On" magazine's nationwide talent search and were offered two major recording contracts. She decided to sign with Philadelphia International Records under the auspices of Grammy Award winning producer, Thom Bell (who was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). She studied under Thom Bell and it was there that she learned the art of record production. She also studied vocal production under legendary Grammy Award winning producer, Hal Davis (Jackson five fame). Cyndi was taught proper vocal technique by vocal trainer to the stars, Seth Riggs and continued her private studies learning the vocal techniques of the great Alan Linquist. Her teaching style has subsequently morphed into a combination of all these great inspirational instructors.

As a teacher, Cyndi is kind, patient and extremely enthusiastic when it comes to instructing her students. Her students always see her as their friend and one who they know will bring out the best in them and desires that they grow to their fullest potential.

*** Lesson Details ***
When you come to Cyndi for voice lessons, you can rest assured that your vocals will never be the same. She is as comfortable teaching the beginner as she is instructing the seasoned professional who wants to hone their skills even further. She can always bring something out of you that you didn't know was there. Maybe it's the confidence that she exudes when she instructs, maybe it's her innate ability to know what's needed at any given time to make the student better. But whatever it is, you can rest assured that your lesson will be fun, thorough, and the lesson plan that she devises will cause you to arrive at the musical goals that you've set for yourself. She can help you or your child prepare for upcoming auditions, as well as any other scheduled performance. Cyndi will create a lesson plan that will certainly be tailor-made for your style and needs.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can bring my Cd player to play tracks etc....the student should have a recording device to record the lesson, whatever performance tracks we'd be working from, and a keyboard would be helpful but not necessary.

*** Specialties ***
My style of vocal training concentrates on singing in the 'Ng" position and using cuperto as the primary way to produce more tone with less effort. I also train my students to breath properly utilizing the lower lumbar area along with breathing from their diaphragm. I generally train vocal students in all genres of music and I stress stage presence in conjunction with proper vocal technique.

Are you tired of doing vocal drills and getting nowhere? I'm glad you have landed on my page. I have a unique ability to help a person reach their singing goals. I stretch your understanding of what your voice is capable of, and challenge you to reach your potential and exceed even your own expectations.
I help shape your voice into an instrument you can rely on and predict its performance. I teach sound vocal technique and vocal rehabilitation for any age, style, level, or voice type.

About Dileesa
Singing has always been my passion. Not just singing, but the instrument, the human voice, has always intrigued me. I’ve been singing since age 2, and on singing on stage since age 4. By age 6 I was traveling with my grandfather’s gospel band as a featured soloist. By age 12 I found myself analyzing voices. I would hear people, celebrities, singing and would think, “Gosh, he/ she would sound so much better if only they did ___ differently. I sang all throughout high school in small ensembles, mixed and women’s chorus, barbershop quartet and gospel church choirs. I studied voice in college because I figured I had a gift and wondered what would happen if I stretched it to perform at its best. My first year was admittedly a disaster. I was a gospel singer who pushed my chest voice up too high and had ruined my mix and head voice. I couldn’t
sing above an E5, I never had enough air to sing my phrases, and my voice was constantly hoarse and raspy. Also, I didn’t realize how hard it would be to sing classical voice. I admit, I had my doubts about the techniques I was being taught. I didn’t see how humming exercises, lip trills and other mundane vocal exercises would translate into me singing Mozart, Schubert, or even being Kirk Franklin’s background singer one day.
And then one day, at the end of semester 2, I noticed a change. There was an ease and comfort in singing. My vibrato was freer and brighter. I could sing an E6, which means I had added a full octave to my range. And I had so much more control over my breath and phrasing.
My second year as a voice student I had a new voice. So much so, that I was awarded two full music scholarships simultaneously (one for jazz vocalist, one for musical theater vocalist) and a paid leading role at a local opera company. I was 19 years old and still singing with a local gospel choir and doing studio work and live background singing. The vocal techniques I learned to be a versatile, well- rounded singer are the techniques I bring to all of my students.
I’ve been to Dubai, London, Portugal and several cities in the US, doing workshops and meeting my fantastic clients and online followers.
I’d love to help you find your voice and fall in love with the voice you have.

About Ann
I started teaching voice in 2002, when I was touring in Europe and Asia. Sometimes after my shows other singers would approach and ask me if I could teach them. I started helping out my friends and colleagues, singers who had problems with their voices and needed my help. It was an incredibly inspiring experience and I felt like that's what I wanted to do all my life. I was learning in the process, and within a year I established my own voice studio where I started teaching everyone who wanted to learn from me.
I feel it's my duty to help others, because I know exactly what to do to bring out the best of our beautiful instrument...the instrument of voice!

I was 17 years old when I first met Ann. I had singing classes with other teachers since age of 5, but I still couldn’t control my voice. After the first month of lessons with Ann my range expanded almost to 4 octaves and I finally was able to sing all the contemporary songs that I liked. I started to like my voice and my fear of being on stage was gone!!! Ann is a great coach! She’s talented, experienced and very passionate about sharing her experience and knowledges with others. Ann is an amazing voice teacher, composer, singer and musician! She managed to "open" my voice to its full potential after just one month of training. In addition to that, Ann has broadened my vision about music and introduced me to various genres of music, from old jazz and blues to RnB, neo-soul, funk, etc. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from her!

If you are looking for an excellent vocal coach, look no further! I have had voice lesson since I was 11 years old and had quite a few teachers in my life, but Ann is by far the best I have ever had. I was trained as a classical singer and now switching over to contemporary music. This is quite a challenge. I am so happy I found her because she is the first one who is actually able to help me with that mission. Ann is not only an incredible teacher, she is also one of the most wonderful people I've met in my life.
