Ali has had music in her life since she was in the crib. She has performed professionally in the musical theatre world and she has studied in several universities for Musical Theater, Jazz, Pop, Blues, and R&B. Since the age of sixteen, she has been selected to sing as a guest soloist for venues such as Spivey Hall, Georgia World Congress Center, and Georgia Tech Hotel Conference Center. Ali has also sung for many movies and recordings, and recently recorded a demo for David Foster, Barbra Streisand, and Andrea Bocelli and recently toured as a pianist for "The Women of Ireland." She is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music and earned her BM in Music Business and Vocal Performance cum laude studying under Magi Scott, Jeff Ramsey, Jerome Kyles, and Carolyn Escoffrey, Donna McElroy, Livingston Taylor, Joan Lader, and Charlie Sorrent
Ali is also known for playing piano. She received her minor in Piano Performance within a year at Shorter College under Helen Ramsaur. She has been playing since she was five years old and has accompanied many people and musical productions.

While acting is a magnificent art, it is also a labyrinth of techniques and ideologies. Throughout time there have been many disagreements about the best way to approach the teaching of acting, but I believe that no matter which way you enter the maze, we are all moving towards the same goal; that is to live truthfully in imaginary circumstances. The craft of acting can falter into a personal nature, however there are common terms and tools that can be learned to aid in achieving the universal goal that is set in front of us. I therefore am bound to teach and specify the rudimentary tools that I have come to consider profoundly vital to the integrity of any serious actor, many of which are drastically overlooked by most.

Kyle is currently a Professor of Theatre, with a specialty in Acting (Musical and Non-Musical Theatre) and Playing Shakespeare at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. Prior to his current appointment, Kyle spent three years as the Director of Theatre at a private high school in Memphis, TN, where he also served on the board of the Tennessee Theatre Association. Kyle is a professional actor, a member of the Actor's Equity Association, has been a member of several professional and semi professional Shakespeare companies, has been represented by stage, tv and film agents based out of New York City, as well as regional markets, is an award winning teacher and stage director and continues to book work in all of those fields.

Thus, I give students a purposeful education in technique, quality literature, performance and artistry, music theory, and music history.
Although students differ in ability and development, I maintain high expectations for our students. I expect attention and respect in lessons, faithful and diligent practice, careful adherence to instructions, and an “I’ll-do-my-best” attitude. If students regularly meet these expectations, then they will excel to the level that they are able. It is my joy to help students master their music, to do the best they can, and to strive for and achieve excellence.
Lastly, I want students to enjoy and appreciate their instrument, music, and music-making; and I know as as a teacher, I am very influential in making this happen. Students develop enjoyment of music by understanding music, experiencing success in music, being exposed to good and varied genres of music, and receiving instruction from a teacher who is enthusiastic and encouraging. It is my goal to provide all of these opportunities for students, and as a result their lives will be enriched as they enjoy their instrument.
My daughter takes guitar from Maria and I didn’t realize how much she’s progressed until we went to a friend’s recital. 8 months with Maria and my child is leaps and bounds ahead of kids who’ve been taking for 2-3 years. It’s really motivating for her to see. Maria has standards which are non-negotiable but she’s patient and truly guides the kids to success. I’m so happy with our choice as her as a teacher.

Keith is fantastic! He expects the highest level of preparation and performance from me at all my lessons and thus pushes me to be a better performer every time. Keith is a knowledgeable and great teacher. He will let you feel comfortable at singing and doing all the practices and make you realize what the correct postures and things needed to make you feel confident. I follow five simple but important steps to my method of engagement in performing. 1. Explore Explore your space. Rather it be on stage, in front of the camera, or just in your head; you must explore your space to find your comfo
rtable and tight places, as well as your obstacles and free spaces. The advantages of exploring first, is that you get a chance as the actor, to feel the area and build that fourth wall. 2. Ground Plant your feet and your voice down and get grounded. Your being is an electrical source. Just like in a home, in order to use electricity safely, it must first be grounded. You must ground yourself in order to release the full potential of your power. 3. Listen Listening is a key element in not just acting, but also in life. Listening doesn't seclude itself to just words. Listening involves, listening to your body, listening for queues, beats, moments and even silence! If you choose not to listen, your response will never be valid. 4. Act and React Every action has a reaction. Your job as an actor, is to fulfill the role by acting and then reacting. You must learn specific techniques to appropriately apply to your acting and if you are following rule number three, reacting should be a breeze. 5. Trust your muscles Trust that through repetitive motion and practice, that your muscles will do it's job and place your mind, words, and body exactly where it needs to be.
With these steps, the only thing left to add is discipline and creativity. I encourage my students to be themselves and be fearless in that. Without your difference in the world, there would be no change, there would be no story to be told, there would be no excitement. I challenge you to excite me and allow me into your space. This course is designed for students who want to study acting through the lens of the text. In my course for beginners and early level actors, we analyze the script for clues left by the writer and apply them to our performances. What is the difference between a beat and a pause? A pause and silence? How do we treat ellipses, commas, and periods? We also look at how the director might interpret and influence the performance as well as differences in performing for theatre versus film.
This class is geared toward the individual, and advanced students may elect to use our time to prepare a monologue for auditions or practice a scene for class in addition to the above lessons.
My lessons stem from the successful work done at my theatre company, which focuses on partnering with student actors to provide them with professional experience as well as exposing them to directing and acting techniques that may be different from what they previously encountered.

Ian began writing plays in high school and carried his passion into college, where he directed his own adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel "Stardust" for Starving Artist Productions. In 2015, he was a Young Playwrights Festival resident at Horizon Theatre and graduated from Emory University with honors in playwriting for his published thesis project, "Somewhere In Between."
Ian is currently the Managing Director of The Theatere, where his professional premiere was met with full houses. With the Theatere, he has also produced "What Comes to
