I have been playing the saxophone for about 17 years now, starting from when I was in 5th grade. I have gotten to play throughout middle and high school, as well as college. I've played alto, tenor, and bari sax, but I prefer to teach alto saxophone. Music, and the saxophone specifically, is a great passion of mine, and I would like to help instill that passion in others. Although I am new to teaching, I have a deep understanding of how a saxophone works and how to teach musical understanding.

About Shane

I'm passionate about music and about sharing my knowledge with others. Everyone can benefit from music and learning an instrument. Specifically, the saxophone is easy to begin learning, and can be very technical at advanced levels. I am still learning new things almost every time I play.

I break teaching down to an easy-to-understand language by demonstrating techniques, rudiments, drum set styles, and playing along with music within the drum lesson. I've been drumming for over 10 years, and I have been teaching for 4 years. I combine knowledge of contemporary drumming techniques along with applications handed down through other drummers for different learning experiences for students. Whether chosen as a hobby or a possible career route, having an experienced drum teacher is key.

I'm a highly trained singer and teacher in many different scopes. Musical theatre is one of my specialties, and I carry that technique and intense training over to other styles of singing such as pop, worship and gospel, country, etc. I specialize in teaching how to breathe properly, firmly believing that good breath support is the foundation in which a singer should start. Then, I build from there; focusing on how the vocal cords function and then focusing on the different registers of the voice as well as the different resonances of the voice. I build your voice from beginning to end, making sure you have a good knowledge and understanding of how your voice works, and also building it and creating muscle memory each step of the way, one important step at a time!

About Debbie

I am a professional singer, recording artist, and worship leader! I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Music - Voice. I am a highly trained vocalist in the styles of Musical Theatre, Pop, Contemporary Christian, Gospel an

Debbie is, as the 5 stars indicate, the best instructor ever! She's extremely qualified and experienced as a teacher, and she's an incredible vocalist! She knows exactly how to meet you wherever you are in your voice and give you knowledge and practical training to improve. She's also incredibly kind, and it's very easy to be yourself and be vocally vulnerable with her. She's the teacher you've been searching for!

My name is Joseph and I’ve been teaching professionally for 30 + years. Additionally, I’ve toured internationally with many artists and have several solo CDs as a leader. I treat every student and lesson on an individual basis and I don’t have a cookie-cutter method of teaching. Topics we will cover will be proper technique, solid foundation, rhythmic and groove training, learning notes/scales, learning songs, music theory, reading music, composition, ear training, recording techniques and much more. All ages and playing levels welcome! I look forward to working with you.

"Both of my daughters love to sing. We signed up for lessons so they could learn their favorite pop songs; one of my daughters also took piano. They've learned how to hit notes easier and how to properly warm up; Lia is great at finding fun ways to keep them engaged while also still learning. The combination of piano and voice for my youngest has been really valuable. I highly recommend Lia for your lessons!"

"Jared is patient, encouraging, extremely knowledgable, and the perfect teacher for me. I had learned some chords from Youtube but Jared's style of teaching is to not only teach what you need to know now, but set up for later stages of guitar playing.
Jared breaks down songs into pieces, and provides a slowed down recording to play along with. I find this the absolute best part about practicing, to play along with Jared's recording. It also means if I haven't played a song for a while I can go back to the recording for the strum/structure.
Without Jared I don't think I would have stuck with the guitar, and after almost 18 months Jared is encouraging me to explore the electric guitar and take the lessons in a new direction.
There are regular performances with all the students, it's no pressure, and I haven't had one go perfectly yet while on the actual stage (in practice they are perfect) but they give students an opportunity to perform in an environment where they can make mistakes and just get out there and try it!

I would strongly recommend Jared as a guitar teacher - the recordings, the encouragement, the performances, he is a very dedicated teacher."
