Become the artist you always wanted to be! Whether you are an aspiring artist, a total beginner, a kid who loves art, a teen building a competitive portfolio, or someone who's always wanted to learn to paint, I will help you develop your technical skills and find your voice as an artist! In our lessons, you will paint from life, exploring composition, concept, and mood through creative assignments. You will train your eye as you paint still lifes, landscapes, portraits, figures, abstractions, and beyond! I will show you examples of historical and contemporary painting as we practice a range of techniques. You will gain confidence through practice and experimentation as you work towards developing your own style as an artist! And most importantly, you’ll have fun! I can’t wait to work with you!

I have been teaching private piano lessons in the East Valley for the past 6 years. I have experience with both the very young and very wise; brand new beginners and those with prior experience. Our goals are to develop a long lasting connection with piano by learning to set goals, problem solve, and build good practice habits. We will balance our study between theory, technic and artistry to become performers. I primarily teach classical piano, but am happy to branch out to pop and jazz with students after we have a strong foundation built up.
