I needed help with a college audition and had a close deadline. Shirley was able to help me prepare and feel confident about my work. She also told me what to expect when going into the audition so I would not be nervous.

I have recently coached/directed actors/actresses from ages 7 through 74 in a Mahaffey Theater Class Acts production. Also, I have acted recently in a film and a dinner theater. You will learn how to alter the tone quality of your voice and especially the prep ideas before opening your mouth to audition.

Sara is a great teacher, 5 stars plus many pluses. She can point out my problems quickly and let me practice efficiently. My accent got improved, and I recommend her to my friends who need the same help. Thank you Sara, you are my best friend too. Love you, sherry

Take lessons recommended me Sara Ann Butler because she is a great teacher. I’ve enjoyed taking lessons with her, and I am happy she has high expectations and material that was useful. I wanted to improve my speaking voice, and she was able to point out the places I could make improvements and gave me methods to improve.
To disagree with a previous review, i’ve never heard her use any anti-racist or political views. She doesn’t expect me to behave like her, and when she teaches she uses “I” and “I” is the student.
I am happy that I took vocal training from her.
Brandi
At this age , she is very hot headed. Her ego is longer than a mile. She is racist, doesnt like African-American and Asian students accent. She was making fun of ppls accents. In the begining i thought she may be trying to make a point but no. Jes thats all anger. The first, i m paying you money for this class. So just teach what you supposed to teach not your racist and politcal views. And after a few classes, I said i dont feel comfortable talking about the race religious views and the next thing she did was cancelled all my lessons without even letting me know. Now i have to restart from the begining from a new teacher and it takes a while for a new teacher to understand your accents problems. She wants her students behave like her age oh please, come on, if the student is young in her 20s or 30s you dont act or behave like her or him. They just started their lives but your almost have lived your life. She should not teach here.

Not everyone wants to learn how to sing, speaking and voice projection are valuable tools for actors, television personalities, lecturers, and professors. Speaking is a lot like singing and I use some of the same exercises to help teach proper support to avoid vocal damage and tiring the voice.

About Laurelanne

I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle sch

This instructor brings a great deal to the table. I have been in her classes as well as taken private classes from her. She is a professional who has traveled the world dancing. She is extremely talented but she teaches with humility never making anyone feel like they are less than. She will teach you while inspiring you to dance your heart out. I would recommend this intructor to anyone who wants to have a great time while learning something new.

Alessia is the greatest dance instructor, personal trainer, and influencer. I absolutely adore her because she is very dedicated to her job and to her students. She goes above and beyond to make sure her students reach their goal whether it’s becoming a dancer, losing weight, gaining confidence or just having fun at dance classes.
I know Alessia for over one and a half years now. At first, I was taking private classes with her for about five months and later I started taking her group classes. She was very flexible about scheduling the privates and never cancelled a class. She is a super energetic dancer with amazing personality; she loves teaching and motivating her students to go after their dreams.
