I took up harmonica when I started songwriting, about five years ago. Inspired by Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and other pop/rock acts, I incorporated diatonic harp playing into my original songs. I later picked up blues style playing, improvisation, and other techniques. I'm happy to share my skills and techniques with harmonica players of all skill levels.

About Gio
I studied music at UCF (Orlando), focusing on classical and jazz guitar, but I also have years of experience playing rock, blues, folk, hip-hop, and musical theater on both guitar and drums.

I have been teaching guitar, drums, and piano for about eight years to students of all ages. Music is what I'm passionate about and it's what I enjoy. I want to inspire that same passion into the hearts and minds of others.

*** Lesson Details ***
I am a laid-back teacher, fun, and I focus on the needs, abilities, and ambitions of the student. In turn, students must realize that learning an instrument takes a lot of work and dedication. One can't expect to learn very much if s/he only practices or thinks about the instrument during the lesson. If the student is willing to put some time into practicing, then I will help them go far!

*** Studi
o Equipment ***
I have several guitars, a drum kit, djembe, mandolin, clarinet and full-size keyboard.

*** Specialties ***
Guitar: Classical, jazz, American or Irish folk, rock and pop; lead or rhythm.
Drums & Percussion: All genres
Piano: Classical (includes sight reading)

I have an earned Masters degree in music and enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am happily married with 5 children at home--4 of them are musicians as well (the youngest is 4).. Students will quickly learn not only the basics of music theory, but will be playing songs as early as their first lesson. It is extremely rewarding watching students have fun, excel, and fall in love with making music. I presently teach music at 3 schools (1 college) and only have a few lessons slots available. I look forward to working with you.

About Doyle
Hello, my name is Doyle B. and I am eager to help you reach your goals! I've been teaching private lessons since 1992 and have loved helping my students win competitions at the state level, learn how to advance rapidly on their instrument, and fall in love with making music. I have 3 earned degrees from Pensacola Christian College (B.S. in Music Ed., 1992), Hobe Sound Bible College (A.A., 1993) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music, 1996). I have experience teaching all of the band instruments, violin, guitar, and piano. I'm an enthusiastic, upbeat person who greatly enjoys working with people of all ages. I presently employed at Hobe Sound Bible College and Christian Academy. I presently have 4 students in China and the Turks and Caicos Islands that I teach using Skype. Fortunately, I have a few openings
in my schedule to teach any one who is serious about excelling on his/her instrument. I look forward to helping you reach your potential.

Hi, I've been studying electric mandolin and guitar with Andrew for some time. He is so kind and enthusiastic, and really understands how to teach me at my level. He has been teaching me the deep theory behind improvisation in bluegrass, newgrass, rock, folk...and has an incredible mind full of music, riffs, scales, and chords from all genres. I've gone back and forth from guitar to mando with him, translating the same information onto the different fretboard, building my knowledge and appreciation of music, and I can now improvise confidently while playing out!

I provide a clear, concise, proven path to success at playing the harmonica. I focus on the most important aspects at mastering the instrument. We also have fun as well!

About Tim
Unlike other teachers that teach multiple instruments and add harmonica to their list, Tim sole focus and expertise is the harmonica!

Tim began playing harmonica at the age of thirteen. In addition to the guidance and nurturing he received from his musical family, Tim studied with harmonica greats Cary Bell and Jerry Portnoy. He also completed courses in music while earning his bachelor’s degree with honors from Kent State University in Ohio. In addition to harmonica, Tim is a fine singer, songwriter and guitarist. An expert blues player, he is also accomplished in the folk, rock and country genres. Before moving to Nashville in 2015, Tim was regarded as one of the finest harmonica players in New England.

Tim's method for teaching harmonica is enjoyable and logical. I can honestly say that my tone, technique and overall facility on the harp have improved so much in just a few weeks of working with him (after a year or so of trying to figure things out on my own via the internet). He knows just how to convey in words -- in a way that you can understand and implement -- exactly what you need to be doing with your mouth, lungs, etc. to help you improve your sound. As such his instruction can provide a great foundation for playing in any genre (blues, pop, country etc.). Also he's super laid back so that's another plus.

I always look forward to my lessons with Tim. He's a great guy and a tremendous instructor. His sense of humor keeps the hour fun and engaging.
That is not to say that he is not constantly challenging you. But he does it in a way all great teachers do; he communicates efficiently and effectively. Hence, it's pretty easy, if you put in the time, to make incredible strides with your harp playing. Highly recommend signing up!

I actually picked up harmonica as a hobby and fell in love with the style and flexibility of blues harp.
If you are interested in learning a foundation in classic blues harp or basic harmonica theory, send me a message!

About Braden
If you're not having any fun, you are probably not doing it right.
Whether you simply need a new hobby to draw your focus, or you can't rest until you have conquered music theory/ technique on your own terms, I will do everything I can to help make your musical goals attainable.
My lesson plan is uniquely tailored (per lesson) to the individual needs of each student, focusing largely on their own music interests to foster autonomy and creativity both in and outside the classroom setting.
I specialize in beginner-advanced guitar lessons; but have over ten years experience with bass, piano, drums, folk instruments, production and engineering, and music theory.
If you want to learn something I don't feel qualified to teach, I will send you to one of my many capable colleagues; apart from that, most anything music related is fair game s
