Learn how to make glue laminated parts for more interesting and versatility in your wood working projects.  This video teaches a simple way to make curved parts by glue laminating thin strips of wood together.  You will also learn how to use scraps to make all kinds of glue up situations easier.  I use these techniques to make a pair of wheels for a tea cart but they can be applied to any of your own designs.

I am a professional Furniture Designer and Maker in the woodworking field.  I have worked with Interior Designers, Architects, and others to make original furnishings and other objects for 25 years.  Most of that has been residential furnishings of all kinds.  Some has been large projects for commercial clients.  I also spent a couple of years overseeing large scale production and product development in several factories in China.
I have always strived to make items that are creative, beautiful, and thoughtfully detailed.  Although original most of my designs could be considered somewhat modern.  
My students can tell me their goals and preferences and we can work together on a plan to take them there and beyond as far as they desire.  I believe that as a student begins to understand the vastness of possibilities in woodworking that their goals can change!

Hello! My name is Jacob Jansen and I am sophomore at Kansas State University studying Construction Science and Management. I just generally love working with my hands. I have some developed hobbies in which I have a lot experience: Woodworking/Tools, Cooking/Baking, Arts and Crafts (Drawing, coloring, painting, basket weaving, jewelry making, etc.), Horticulture,  Physical activity, Yard work, and Finances. I have spent the longest time, about 4 years, woodworking, however I have a lot of detailed knowledge in all of these subjects, and it just boils down to what is needed the most! I always love to learn and will learn more about these topics if need be.
