The publishing company that licensed her designs flew her to China to do an art signing at the Canton World Trade Show.
Enthusiastically sharing her knowledge, she has taught all levels of art to both beginners and adults for the past thirty years. She created and taught a very successful after school art program for kids for over ten years as well. After devoting the last twenty years to painting scenes ranging from realistic to impressionistic, Ms. Buettner is venturing out with her accomplished techniques and abilities, into the exciting and unusual world of intuitive expression. Letting go of conscious thoughts, an exciting, creative and sensual world emerges to be shared with the viewer. This work has been coined Neo Biomorphic.

--- REVIEWS ---
Prior students and clients have given me 5 of 5 stars in all 51 online ratings across various websites. Students have told me they appreciate the way I simplify complex topics, such as in these reviews from prior students:
Cindy was incredibly helpful, and really went "above and beyond" in every way. She's extremely knowledgeable and did a tremendous amount of research in order to supplement her work on this job. Saved me many, many hours of potential aggravation — I will definitely continue to rely on her for expertise with all things Lightroom/Photoshop/PostProduction for photography. Highly recommended!

Computer Challenged student gives her 5 stars plus!
Cindy was very patient and worked well with my low computer skill level. The class was very informative and fun. I believe we hit it off right away. I can't wait for my next class.

Cindy was able to untangle my Lightroom 6 update snarl with patience and humor. She has an excellent grip on the mechanics of Lightroom and communicates well. I recommend her highly.
- Elizabeth S., Middleton, MD
Contacted Cindy a few months ago to help me to put together a slide show, clean up my photos, To say that I'm technically inept would be a compliment. At my age (you don't want to know) just about all these new programs give me the shakes. I was using a rather basic photo program and she recommend I take a look at Adobe Lightroom. I was notified that it would look a bit intimidating and was pretty aggressive. That was an understatement. Well, it's been a couple months now and I think the Adobe LR program is absolutely terrific. I've become quite proficient and the program is so inclusive that I'm sure, despite how far I've come along, it will always be able to do what I need with the help of Cindy. She has been very responsive, knowledgeable, organized and very patient. My lessons will be ongoing (every two weeks) and will build upon a strong foundation. Highly recommend Cindy.

Over the past 7 years I have helped produce baking shows, commercials, documentary shorts, and wedding and graduation films, amongst many other short films.
My lessons range from a starter level, giving an in depth look of how a DSLR camera works, it's settings and how to operate it with all of the basic equipment needed for most projects; to more experienced filmmaking, looking at larger, more expensive video cameras, sets, and the teams needed to create larger scale projects.
In my beginner to intermediate classes we will cover: coming up with an awesome and practical concept, lighting, sound, composition, equipment, as well as editing. This includes sound design, sequencing, editing in premiere pro, and some visual effects in after effects.
