Patrick is the Organ teacher I should have had when I was a kid. Thankfully, I found him in this lifetime!
I'm a decent piano player who has lacked confidence in my play and music skills. I have just started to play Pipe Organ at my church and i needed someone's help.

Patrick's unlocking knowledge that I didn't realize was in my head and adding to it, the missing pieces in a way that no teacher has ever been able to do before (and I've had more than a handful of instructors for music). I have a degree in Music too.

He is Extremely patient and warm with a great sense of humor and compassion for any person over the age of 5. ( I believe he can teach around that age too)

Lessons are very well organized with just the right amount of information given out in any one sitting. He takes into account the goals and background of each client he works with and customizes what the focus will be. For me, I needed a immediate answer. I am not so patient. My lesson time is a slightly different than others. lol Sorry Patrick.

I am so grateful to study with and wholeheartedly recommend him to Anyone (professional to novice) searching for Organ /keyboard lessons with a teacher who will meet you where you are at and take you to the next level. Check him now!

About Ashley
Hi! My name is Ashley and I'm a recent both music and writing graduate of William Paterson University.

I am a passionate multi-instrumentalist.

Do you want to learn how to play your instrument and make up your own music too one day?

If you'd like to try out a teacher who truly loves what they do, I may be right selection. My primary instrument is piano, though I play several others such as flute, clarinet, guitar and violin. I am most proficient on piano, flute, clarinet and guitar so I feel more comfortable teaching these instruments in order to give students the best possible musical foundation. All students are welcome to learn from me, and I have a soft spot and understanding for special needs students.

Music has been in my life since I was a young child, as my grandfather who was proficient on both organ and clarinet
, taught me how to read music and play keyboard. Music is something that can never escape my life! I practice my instruments on a daily basis and avidly compose my own music as well. Besides being involved with piano at school, I was a member of the William Paterson Symphony Orchestra where I played second violin, as well as a member of the school's flute ensemble. My goal is to have a career in which I can instill within my students the same love, endearment and appreciation for music that has grown with me over the years.

I am someone who truly has a passionate love for music, as it is what my whole life is about and brings me immense happiness on a daily basis. I am not just a robotic teacher who is providing lessons as a financial opportunity, but someone who honestly cares about the growth of a student's musical ability and love for music itself.

A huge part of music is not just learning how to play the notes correctly, but to come to understand the amazement that can be experienced from the act of playing an instrument. To be the most successful in any music related business, I feel that it is essential to love what you do and to practice as much as you possibly can. Love and practice can take someone very far if they are truly dedicated to their art.

Witnessing a student enjoy what they're doing while improving their skills in the process is an amazing feeling for both student and teacher. I want to show people what it is I love about music so much, and hopefully instill within them the same love and passion.

I would like possible future students to know that I am not like any other instructor, as generic as this may sound. I have a true, fervent passion for music which I yearn to share with others.
Whether music is a way of life or just a hobby for someone, it can be something that sticks with them for the remainder of their lives and brings great happiness and enjoyment.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance, and have been teaching voice for 9 years. My students are regularly accepted into Honors choruses, community and academic musical productions, and are accepted into arts middle and high schools.
Teaching voice is my passion, and I love to teach individuals of all ages and ability levels. I teach with a very relaxed approach or a very directive one, and a
nything in between, depending on each person's needs. I have found that a positive attitude and a nurturing setting go furthest in helping people develop as singers. I have experience teaching both male and female voices, transgender voices, and almost all genres of music.

Professional Bio:

Hailed for her effortless high notes, warm timbre, and vocal agility, coloratura soprano Ashley A. is a versatile performer and advocate of early and contemporary music.

In 2017/18, Ashley makes her European début singing the roles of Aricie in Rameau’s Aricie et Hyppolite and Diana in Cavalli’s La Calisto with Woodhouse Opera Festival in London. Upcoming engagements also include medieval repertoire with early music group Lauda Musicam, a presentation of Baroque music for the Historical Keyboard Society of North America, and two programs with Savannah Baroque: Love and Passion and Donne in Musica, the latter presenting music of female composers of the Baroque era. In the summer, she will return to the Savannah Voice Festival as a second year studio artist under the tutelage of Sherrill Milnes.

In 2016, Ashley was in a featured soloist in Haydn’s Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo, and prior to that she portrayed the role of Josephine in HMS Pinafore presented by Asbury Memorial Theatre. She was a featured soloist on a program of medieval Spanish repertoire with early music ensemble The Goliards, which she has collaborated with since 2010.

Other past operatic performances include Ännchen in Der Freischütz, Barbarina, La Contessa and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Erste Dame, Pamina and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance.

Ashley has pursued the study of voice, vocal pedagogy, acting, and Alexander Technique with teachers from around the country since 2008. Currently, she studies with Sharon Stephenson, Dr. William Lavonis, and Dr Ron Dennis. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she maintains a private studio in addition to her performance schedule.

Ashley was very professional. My daughter responded well to her teaching style. Ashley requested the music my daughter was working on in advance and suggested other song choices for her voice. Ashley played the music on the piano while my daughter sang. She did breathing techniques and other voice warm ups too. She even gives homework. We love her and HIGHLY RECOMMED her.

About Julian
Hi! I'm Julian. While I specialize in guitar, I also know my way around keys, bass, and a drumkit. I've been teaching guitar for about 11 years, and have spent a few years teaching out of music shops. My style is adaptive and fluid to suit a wide range of desires and skill levels, but in addition to guitar technique you can expect to learn a good deal about music theory. I love teaching music more than anything and would rather do nothing else. I come from a blues/rock background and studied jazz guitar and music production at Shenandoah University. If you think we'd be suitable for one another, don't hesitate to contact me!

As a teacher, Tyler has taught voice, music theory, sight reading, and composition lessons to students of all ages. He has a degree in music education, a degree in composition, and is currently finishing his final degree.

When taking lessons; you can expect to achieve the following:
Fundamentals of singing
Building singing skills
How to read and write music
How to listen to music
Sight Singing
Scales
Key signatures
Intervals
Dictation
Chords and how they work
How to analyze music

Here are a few reviews from students I have taught:
Mr. S was a great teacher. He was always professional and fair about his tests and
grading. Aside from the basic music theory 1 curriculum itself, he gave the class additional input that gave some of the concepts more context. I learned alot. Most of all, I appreciated his willingness to help me on an individual basis. I don't think I grasped some of the concepts as fast as other students, but Mr. S was always there to lend a helping hand. At times, I'd run into him just as he was leaving the building, but he'd still help me with a homework problem or two. He didn't have to do this, but I'm thankful that he did. I'd recommend Mr. S to anyone wanting to take Music Theory.

Mr. S is an absolutely fantastic teacher. I doubt I would have learned as much as I did throughout the Aural skills sequence at UGA if he wasn't my instructor. He just has a way with teaching and getting concepts across that is very effective. He goes above and beyond to make sure no one in the class ever falls behind, and is very understanding and willing to give extra help. He's so great!.

I love Mr. S, he was very helpful and took time out of his schedule to help me when ever possible! The only thing I would say is try to include more dictations in class, don't focus as much on theory behind it, deffinetly still go over it but just not as much. For example it really did help though when, you would go over the functions of each chord and note. Thank you for a great year!

I thought that Mr. was a very good instructor. He was always willing to meet outside of class to help you with questions. He also tried to explain things many ways when you don't understand. He is very smart and good at what he does. I hope to h

About Peyton
At a very young age I discovered my passion for music. As a child I was involved in numerous state choirs, prestigious orchestras, and symphonies. In college, I studied piano performance, music composition, and played violin in the Western Washington University Symphony. Throughout my music education I was instructed by some of the greatest teachers and conductors in the PNW, all of whom used different teaching styles and techniques. I've taught both piano and violin for 6 years and incorporate what I've learned to personalize lessons for each student.
In my experience, people learn best when they enjoy the music they're learning and become aware of their progress and accomplishments. I encourage my students to be patient when learning a difficult piece or gaining new skills. Like anythings progress takes a little time and hard work, but
that doesn't mean you can't have fun along the way!

Patient and caring instructor! Allows you to choose what you want to play instead of choosing music for you. I chose a composition by Hayao Miyazaki, as I always loved his music. Showed me websites I could use to support my learning, as well as provided relevant assignments. Taught me about musicality, rather than just playing the notes. Helped me with reading spacing between notes as intervals rather than looking at the notes themselves which was very helpful

My name is Jordan Barker and I a student at UGA currently majoring in Advertising and minoring in studio art. I have been playing piano since I was four years old and haven't stopped since. I taught my dad how to play piano, and I have experience teaching other children as well. I work well with people of all ages! Learning an instrument at a younger age is one of the best things that anyone can do, because it helps develop self-discipline and patience skills and is scientifically proven to improve your math and science skills! I can attest to this because math has always been my favorite subject, and my best classes. Since music is it's own language, it also helps you absorb new languages in the future. Of course I still am open to teaching adults! My dad was just forty-five years young when he decided he wanted to learn how to play pian
o, He started learning a few years back and now he can play Claire De Lune, which is an extremely difficult song to learn. My goal is to help teach you the notes and symbols first, and how to count all the beats in the measures. While learning beginning songs I will also be teaching chords as well ( depending on younger children, I may wait to teach them chords until I feel they have fully grasped the subject ). I require that your own books be purchased, but I will let you know which books are best, and you can buy them used off of Amazon! It is extremely important to me that you gain a passion for piano, and have the skills to learn and practice on your own. I know that with free lessons online it seems ridiculous to pay someone to teach you piano, but no one can beat a personal connection that will inspire you to play for the rest of your life. I am open to any questions, so please feel free to message me :)
