Your first lesson with me will be fun and exciting. You will learn how to play a fun simple song and scales and rhythm. I measure your success by how well you practice using the techniques I give you, I also measure progress according to how many times a week you practice, I am committed to inspire people of all ages and skill levels to learn more about music. I believe that music for every individual should be a pleasurable learning experience. Whether you are a beginner or advanced musician or vocalist. I welcome all students of all ages encouraging them. I like to motivate all students to succeed. After 3 to 6 months with you, you will have learned how to play simple songs, 12 scales and read the lines and spaces of Treble and Bass Clef and play 3 rhythm patterns

Sonya is wonderful! My daughter came hime after her first sewing lesson so excited about what she will learn. It took her 30 minutes, talking a mile a minute, to share every detail. Sonya made her feel comfortable and eager to learn more.

About Luis

My name is Luis Urrego and I was born in Colombia South America. I came to the United States when I was 7 years old and was raised here for most of my life. I am bilingual with my first language being Spanish and my second language English.

I currently work as a Web Designer for the Hall County School District in Gainesville G.A. and have been with them for over 8 years. I have been doing Web Designing for over 20 years though.

I am also a church minister and missionary and have done quite a few and extensive trips to Spanish speaking countries where I have had to both preach, interpret, and translate between English and Spanish. I have also done interpreting work for hospitals and am certified as an health care interpreter for the state of South Carolina.

One of my past time recreations is playing the game of Chess. I love the game

itself for the fun factor, but mainly for the social and behavioral developmental aspects of it. I believe it is a very beneficial game not just for adults, but especially for children to help develop their brain at an early age.

My main goal is to serve others in the best way possible and to see that my students become stronger and are satisfied in the area that I'm teaching them in.
