age,
degree of dedication,

skill level,
musical interests.

At the core, each student will master the instrument. All students will learn:

how music works and how to apply it to the guitar.

About Ronald
I am an experienced professional with a background in music performance, education, composition, theory and arranging.

*** Lesson Details ***
Few musicians or music students have identical goals, musical interests or physical size. So, It is NECESSARY to customize the course of study to meet student requirements. There are common issues for any serious pursuit of learning involving the guitar; right and left hand technique, fingerboard knowledge, chord knowledge, reading and interpretation.

However, to progress, it is also necessary for the student to practice daily.

I try to maintain a healthy balance between the focus on performance and technical issues.

It was obvious to me at my first lesson with Ron, that he is an experienced and top quality musician and teacher. I have enjoyed several lessons with him so far. He is patient, makes learning fun, great at conveying the material, and has set a learning pace that feels just right for me.

I have been playing guitar for ten years and teach acoustic or electric. For beginners and intermediates, I like to teach classical guitar out of the Suzuki method books before moving on to popular music or continued classical study.

About Mathew
Currently residing in Homewood, IL to play downtown with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, I am looking to continue my passion of teaching in this exciting new city. My wife and I have relocated from Bloomington Indiana, where I was an Associate Instructor for the Jacobs School of Music. I have always enjoyed learning new instruments to get new musical perspectives; I have studied String Bass, Electric Bass, Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums/Percussion,
and even the Viol de Gamba (Google it!).

Matt is an excellent guitar teacher. I highly recommend him.

Matt has been teaching guitar to my 12 year old son for several months now. My sons' guitar playing has improved greatly since his lessons with Matt. He's playing with a lot more confidence, thanks to Matt's influence.

Matt is always on time and has a wonderful way with people. My son feels very comfortable with him. They collaborate on songs together and it is important to Matt that Jude be engaged in his guitar practice.

We're thrilled with Matt and I highly recommend him as a teacher.
Any aspiring guitar player would be lucky to have Matt as a teacher!

I've taken a couple of lessons from Trevor so far and they have been awesome. I've taken lessons from about 7 or 8 instructors in my lifetime and he is definitely one of, if not the best.
The thing that makes Trevor stand out to me is that he took the time to get to know what I wanted to learn and to figure out how I like to learn. He comes prepared to the lessons with material, answers any questions I have during the week by email and has worked with me to develop a specific education plan to meet my goals.
I suggest taking a trial lesson with this guy to see if you're on the same page. I am definitely not going anywhere else while I live in Austin.

I have a degree in music, I write music, and I play live consistently. My lessons are customized to the student. If you'd like to learn music theory, get direction in song-writing, or just learn to play covers of songs, I can adjust to your needs. As a professional musician, I like to show young people that being a musician is an achievable and realistic goal.

About Alexa
I've been playing guitar since 2005. I studied music in college with a focus on classical vocals, but I also took numerous lessons in jazz guitar. I started a band in February of 2016 that is still gaining a following in Philly. We have released 1 EP so far and are working to release an album. I have accompanied vocalists and dancers on guitar. I believe that I can provide the knowledge and enthusiasm to launch a love/appreciation for music.

I'm 28 years old and I've recorded with Grammy-nominated rock band, Jars of Clay, as well as internet celebrity, Jessi Smiles. I've taught at high schools, music conservatories, and have taught guitar and songwriting to dozens of students.
What makes me different is my ability to teach in a simple and practical way that builds on what you know and is guaranteed to give results fast. I'm also very fun and enjoyable to be around, so if you're worried about sitting with an awkward, stuffy old teacher for an hour, that's not me. Even my most inexperienced students are playing drastically better within two months (doing one hour per week).

About Benjamin
Hey there! I'm a very experienced teacher from Miami, FL but I've just moved to Georgia to get a breath of that country air. I've recorded with Grammy-nominated Christian rock band, Jars of Clay. I've also recorded for my internet celebrity cousin, Jessi Smiles. I've worked with other bands as well, and have been the worship leader at multiple large churches. I'm also a published author of three books (but I won't charge you extra for that!).

I'm a huge fan of The Beach Boys and anything classic rock, R&B, jazz, and country. I love teaching and have been doing so for over 5 years. I've taught at Inna's Hall of Fame, Monsignor Edward Pace High School, and Miami Dade College.

I've taught students of all ages, including autistic students and other students with learning disabilities. The families I've worked with, over time, see me as fa
mily as well. In this new chapter of my life, I hope to bring the gift of music to Georgia with me! I'll have you rocking out within two months of lessons, guaranteed!

We started a few months ago and I've already improved drastically. He doesn't teach you phony riffs and songs like some teachers, Ben focuses on learning chords and strumming and finger picking patterns first so that you can be able to play ANY song, not just one specific one.
