I hope to help students of all levels with technique, interpretation, and musicality. After a 30-year long career singing internationally, I hope to share my knowledge and experiences with students with a love for music! Whether you are interested in singing blue grass, opera, musical theater, pop, or any other genre, you can achieve a beautiful sound with a healthy technique. No two voices are alike, and I can't wait to help you discover yours!

What ever style you wish to pursue, I can help you get the sound and comfort you want through exercises that address breath support, diction and vocal range.

I've been teaching voice for eight years and my students have gone on to study at CalArts, La Guardia, The New School, and more. I encourage students to bring in songs they've written themselves! I specialize in Jazz, Pop/Contemporary, Broadway and Choral styles, and have the following tools available: microphones, keyboard, Logic Pro, Spotify premium for karaoke backing tracks, sheet music.

Finding your real voice, free vocalizing, harmony, blending, improve usable range, the mixed voice. The first steps to mastering vocal freedom are the building blocks for vocal success. Whether the student is a child or an adult, with little or no training, it is my goal to make singing an enjoyable and freeing experience. Singing with complete vocal freedom and confidence can seem very elusive. Surprisingly, it's not as elusive as one might think! The steps to vocal freedom are within reach and most students experience a measure of freedom within the first lessons. Using a systematic method incorporating learning technique and songs the student loves to sing makes learning more fun and gives the student a greater appreciation of music as a whole while encouraging a passion for music that lasts a lifetime.

"I can't sing." That's something I hear from a lot of people when they find out that I'm a singer. My response: EVERYONE can sing. That's why I teach singing with three easy basic concepts: Breathe, Imagine, and Trust. Breath is the foundation of singing on which all other elements of healthy technique are based (vowel, enunciation, phrasing, etc.). Imagine is all about learning what's possible with your instrument, and Trust is what allows your body to make your Imagination a Reality. Whether you want to sing in your living room or in front of thousands of people, I'll work with you to make sure you have the technique and the confidence to do so.
