I'm an experienced and dedicated cellist, having played with Orchestras and Chamber groups throughout my state. My lessons are focused on relaxation, and am as laid back or strict as the student needs. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, shooting to be a church player or a pro, I have taught students for that and am the teacher for you.

About Nicholas

Nicholas is a professional cellist that has studied since the age of 9. He has now been teaching the cello, viola, and violin for the past seven years for students of all ages, beginner to pre-college level. Throughout Nicholas’s career, he has been an active member of Honors Orchestras, Youth S

Nicholas was very professional. I've been playing cello for 13 years and have played in many community symphonies. I've never had a private lesson and just learned what I was taught in grad school. Although I was skeptical on online lessons, Nicholas has already shown me some bad habits i have and how to break them and we're already moving on to some hard stuff. I'm excited to where my next 9 lessons will take me. Perhaps even with more lessons on the way. Thanks Nicholas!

Nicholas is amazing! He knows how to really explain the viola so that my 10 year-old understands. He’s also very kind.

I am an adult contemplating learning cello as a new hobby. Nicholas was very nice and answered all of my questions. I am looking forward to starting regular lessons with Nicholas.

Thomas is honestly an amazing musician and teacher. He was really patient with me. Despite having to deal with major timezone differences (as I live in Myanmar), he took the time to figure it out. Also, he helped me figure out the stuff it took me months to figure out. He also really knows what he's doing. I learned so much in that hour of practice. 10/10 would recommend him.

Danielle was a very intuitive teacher- she listened to my goals, and helped provide me with a clear path toward them, conquering some of the basics, scales, pentatonic, and such... but also some of the more advanced nuances like harmonics and vibrato. If you are trying to learn violin or fiddle, I'd recommend Danielle.

Her lessons are truly engaging and productive and she can communicate the information in a way that is easy to understand. She so very patient and encouraging while also inspiring excellence in her students. She keeps the lessons fun and interesting by spending some time each week on playing duets, sight-reading and learning a variety of musical styles. "I have been a student of music for many years with piano and violin. This year it was time for a change. Taking on cello with Victor has been the best experience. He is kind, patient and provides a wonderful learning environment. Although my lessons are done online it seems no different then if he were standing in my living room! I would encourage anyone to take cello lessons from Victor as he teaches a unique way with every student. By the end of your first lesson you will love what you learn and practice to get better. It has been super fun and I look forward to learning more!"

"Genevieve taught me the most I’ve ever learned about the cello in a mere two months. Through her I was able to move through an entire Suzuki book while also learning every scale (including chromatic) without using open strings. The techniques she taught me helped further my music that I still use today. Before studying with her I was fourth stand in my high school’s orchestra. By the end of the Summer I was able to achieve first chair and all of the offered solos."

It does require focused, daily practice time and a good teacher to guide you along the way. How far you progress with cello is a direct result of the amount of quality time you put into practicing the instrument. Even someone who puts in just 30 minutes a day will notice a signi …
