Hi !I'm a full-tuition scholarship receiver at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. 14 years of playing the violin, 9 years of serious musician life, I give lessons with specific curriculums vary from students, so they could get the most efficient and benefit teaching according to their own levels. Lessons will be fun, I would like students to enjoy and embrace music this great art, without losing the standard of solid technique and touching musicality. I've been mostly teaching beginners and intermediate violin students, but sometimes advanced as well. In addition of being a violin teacher, I 'm also the second prize winner of the Marbury Violin Competition in 2019, third prize winner of the 3rd Hongkong International Music Festival Youth Violin Competition in 2016, Merit Award of 2014 China CCTV violin competition( Professional category ) and a full scholarship receiver of Idyllwild Arts Academy in 2013. Annalise has a very impressive background in music and education, and it really reflects through her lessons with my daughter. She has instilled a lot of confidence in my daughter, to the point that she tried out for, and made, Advanced Choir at her school. I very highly recommend Annalise!

I'm a Berklee alum who was fortunate to study with Alan Dawson, and still use a lot of what I learned from him in my teaching. I've toured around the world playing drums as well as recording on both coasts and CO, and I most recently taught at the Aurora School of Rock for 4 1/2 years. I tailor each lesson individually for each student to make the learning experience unique and educational. You won't learn if it isn't fun, and I make it fun.

About Carl

Hi, I've been playing drums since I was 13 and have gotten to play all over the US, up in Canada and in Japan. I've recorded many albums and still record to this day. Before I decided to do the teaching and recording thing from home, I taught for over 4 years at the Aurora CO School of Rock, so I

Carl gave my daughter drum lessons over the course of a few years and I can honestly say after every lesson she had she had something good to say. Carl is a very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging instructor and watching my daughter's skill level increase because of his instruction was great. I highly recommend Carl as an instructor.

Carl is a wonderful instructor! He was able to help our very shy daughter progress from basic drums to more advanced drums, culminating in performance ready songs. She always enjoyed his instruction and has positive feedback on her time with Carl.

Based on playing ability, I try to tailor a student's goals to their time available to practice and motivation. Just like with any craft, playing an instrument is a discipline that needs attention, and I want the best outcome the student feels that they can produce. We will have fun discovering the joys of learning music!

About Keats

Keats is an excellent and professional teacher. He was always punctual and extremely pleasant. As an adult beginner, I felt very encouraged and challenged while learning cello from Keats. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone who wants a quality learning experience.

About Kimberly

I grew up in a household of 9 where music was always center stage. We would sing as a family in different venues and were often called the VonTrapp family. I have enjoyed singing and performing from a young age. I began studying flute at age 8, after scoring highest in the harmony listening exam an

I have been working with Kim for a few weeks and I have learned a tremendous amount and can hear the difference every week as I progress. I enjoy the process she applies to keep it positive and fun yet learn the proper fundamentals required to perform well. I actually tried a few vocal teachers and Kim with her wisdom and experience made it simple who to go with!!

Kim can teach you or your child, no matter where you are!

I was 30 when I decided to rekindle my love for the violin. I hadn’t played since before YouTube was invented, and I was skeptical about learning violin online. By the first lesson, Kim had already corrected poor habits I didn’t know I had, just after hearing me play a few scales. She adjusted her teaching style to my personality so seamlessly that I felt I was just getting pointers from a dear violinist friend whose advice is always spot-on. Weekly practice never felt like work, because Kim tailored my assignments to my goals. Before I knew it, I was playing complex concertos I could never do in high school. I started out being able to play just one major scale. Within 10 months, I was in Suzuki Book 4!
I can’t say enough about Kim’s expert teaching skills. During a sight-reading of a very difficult piece, I became so frustrated that I wanted to stop the lesson and try again later. Kim encouraged me until I had gotten all the way through, and pointed out what I could learn from my performance. When I had time to calm down, I realized that Kim can do this for any student; adults, children, and adults whose inner child throws a tantrum when they’re frustrated by a musical challenge. :-)

Teachers like Kim are rare, and worth their weight in gold. I learned so much more than violin fundamentals through my lessons with her. I’m convinced Kim can teach anyone, of any age—even through an online platform.

"Best teacher of all

Our daughter has been taking piano lessons from Fawn for 3 years now. We are so amazed how patient she always is with her, and how far our girl has come. She has far surpassed her classmates who started at the same time with other teachers. We couldn’t be happier to have chosen Fawn. We are impressed with how Fawn changes and grows along with our daughter. She began when she was 5 years old and now she is 8, reading and playing high level classical pieces. As a piano player myself, I've seen and gone through many different teachers, which is why I am confident to say that Fawn is definitely the best teacher of all and we are so lucky to have her!"
