There are three modes of Hindi learning that are offered by me - spoken only, elementary (including foundational reading, writing, listening & speaking) and advanced (for academic enhancement of language skills).
Each class is well-structured according to individual needs and paced accordingly too. I often tell interesting facts about the language, the life of the common man speaking it and the culture of the region.
My students feel at ease and look forward to their classes because they are interesting and incorporate things that they relate to. This way Hindi literature remains contemporary and relevant to new generations of readers.
My teaching style is inviting of student participation, supportive and gentle.
I offer spoken Hindi classes to navigate social and professional situations effortlessly. I like to make music lessons fun! We'll learn material chosen by both the student and the teacher to ensure that our lessons are inspiring and engaging. We'll work hard to improve your skills and technique while also learning songs of your choosing. I began taking piano lessons when I was 7. I recently studied with the respected jazz pianist, Dr. Stephen Anderson, during my four years at the University of North Carolina. In high school, I played piano in numerous rock and jazz groups. In college, I played piano in the University Jazz Combos for four consecutive semesters. Today, I'm an experienced jazz and pop/rock pianist. I also play keyboards with the touring rock act, Frute. If you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced pianist or keyboardist, I would love to give you lessons. I hope I can help you out on your musical journey!
