Master of Music in Choral Conducting from University of South Florida
With the highest range of the orchestral string family, the violin is capable of singing with the voice of an angel. Solid technique in combination with musical expression is what makes that possible, so these will be primary areas of focus during our lessons.
We will cover form (because that is the foundation of technique - without proper form, mastering the instrument is virtually impossible), intonation (which is as much about training the ears as it is the fingers), tone (I'm probably biased, but I think strings have the most beautiful and expressive sound of all of the instruments of the orchestra), theory (the grammar/vocabulary/sentence structure and written language of music), literature and history (the music itself, who wrote it, when it was written and in what context). It's a misnomer to lump almost 1000 years of the music of Western Civilization under the label "classical" (which technically represents less than 100 years of music history).

Sharing the joy of music for over 40 years! Timeless and universal, music is a language that transcends all the spoken languages of the world. It is the language of the human heart and spirit. Cameron has worked with students of all ages, from children to senior adults. Whether you're just getti
professionally to pick up the violin basics easily. Aarav was not only able to learn from him, but really enjoyed him as a teacher, as well.
Cameron is highly skilled at teaching. I would highly recommend him .
I started taking voice lessons for the first time at a community college in Arizona. After moving to Florida, I met Cameron and resumed studying voice. It has been my pleasure to work with him and feel fortunate to have him as my teacher. He has helped me tremendously.
In the past, I was a baritone, but Cameron has worked with me to extend my range, so now I am more of a bari/tenor. He has helped me learn better breathing technique, so now I can hold my notes twice as long and my tone is very much improved.
It has been an honor to sing the National Anthem on multiple occasions with our local veteran's AVAST Color Guard presentations. Cameron worked with me for many lessons to improve my rendition of the Anthem. The Star-Spangled Banner is not an easy song and I wanted to sing it correctly. Cameron was very patient and helped me with the rhythm and diction. I sing it unaccompanied and I don’t read music, and I am in my 70’s. I think I am a challenge for my teacher! I have received several complementary letters on my performances, so I shared those complements with him because I could not have received them with out his help.
I highly recommend Cameron as a teacher and an honest person.

I have been teaching guitar, including Classical Guitar, for 23 years. I emphasize the finer points of finger style guitar to achieve the best technique and sound. Also standard music notation for reading music is very important. Classical guitar is a different world than the standard guitar approach, but it is quite fulfilling and enjoyable, although the technique will apply to any finger style song you would like to play!

Music Education BA from University of South Florida
We are beautifully and wonderfully made in such a way that certain foundational, physical aspects of singing will help everyone. I teach the foundations for a physiologically correct technique that enhances every style. This has helped all singers, including those who are experiencing discomfort when they sing.
Singing is as natural to me as speaking but I wasn't always this way. That's why I love to help anyone become comfortable or better at expressing themselves through singing. Vocal students of all levels, beginning to advanced, are welcome.
Singing is a very individual thing and I approach each student uniquely. I have multiple experiences and styles to draw from.
I prefer to teach lessons to age 11 & up but will work with younger students if they are ready.
Vocal students can receive music reading training if they desire it, but since 30 minutes is a minimum for developing physical foundational techniques and music selections, lessons would need to be 45 ...

I am a student of Mrs. Mary. I have been doing piano with her for over a year. She is very good at explaining the material when I am confused, she takes the time to make sure I know what I am about to play. Mrs. Mary is very patient, she does not get mad or frustrated when I do not play the piano piece correctly, she just tells me to play it again and explains what mistakes I made. Mrs. Mary is very kind and caring. She is a very good piano teacher!

Ability development from age 0. Having grown up in a Suzuki family, I have been trained in the Suzuki method since my birth. I love starting young children especially with the Suzuki method, as the so-called "Mother Tongue approach" seems the most efficient at getting young children to understand the language of music. I have taken courses in Suzuki method and am an active member of the Suzuki Association of America. For a class setting, please invite any siblings or friends to join in the fun of learning music!
Having grown up in a musical family with her mother a professional violinist, Hallie has been exposed to the joys of music since childhood. She learned how to play Suzuki piano at the age of three, and later percussion and string instruments from when I was six years old, and has playing and making

Mena did a great job. My son took an SAT test before and after Patrick's tutoring and showed a noticeable improvement, using several specific tips and insights Mena taught him."
I have 3 girls in High school (10th, 10th, and 9th) . they had been struggling in math since I can remember. I didn't think I could afford tutoring. They each had an 'F' in math.
I found Colin, and what a blessing! In just THREE short weeks Colin had my girls understanding HIS lessons, their CLASSROOM lessons and PASSING their exams! They brought their grades up too!
The best thing I can compare his tutoring to is: an adult teaching a kid to ride a bike...
He didn't expect them to just ride a bike. he took the proper steps and taught my girls about the bike parts, the way the bike functions, how they all work together, how to properly sit and pedal, and he even held them up until they understood it completely and eventually were able to ride the bike on their own.
Thank you Colin! for putting my girls back on track with math!"
Think creative writing is all that different from writing a research paper in class? You might be surprised! Read on as New Milford, NJ tutor Matthew H. explains... Creative writing tips seem to be counterintuitive; how can someone tell someone else how to be creative? The truth is that the secret to writing any good creative literature is not really that different from what you need for a really great academic paper: strong structure. I tutor many students for the SAT and GRE. …

At some point in your academic career, you'll need to know how to analyze an argument properly. Here, tutor Andrew P. shares his guide to success... As a college student, you'll be expected at some point to understand, restate, comment on, or discuss someone’s assertion (strongly stated position). An argument is a reason(s) for a conclusion. He is dense (reason); therefore, I won’t talk with him (conclusion). I won’t talk with him (conclusion) because he is dense (r …

Informational Writing. Two words bound to lose the attention of any kid (and probably just about every adult) the second they’re uttered…It’s not a phrase that’s quite conducive to awe, wonder, or excitement. And outside of battling a lack of interest, writing itself can be a tedious, frustrating, and scary process that most students do everything they can to avoid. So what can we do? How can we get past all of the barriers that children and students put up for us and for themselv …
