I can teach traditional classical guitar finger picking techniques using a nylon string guitar. I can also teach fingerpicking on steel string acoustic guitar, as well as performing and arranging classical pieces on the electric guitar. I also love to make my own arrangements of classical pieces from other instruments. My personal favorites to perform are J. S. Bach and Heitor Villa-Lobos.

I have taught guitar at the university and high school levels as well as privately to students from age 7 to 70. I am patient, kind and customize my lessons to various learning styles and aim to help my students stay motivated by helping them play music they really love from the beginning.
I would love to help you or your child become a better guitarist!

From there each successive lesson we attacked those weak areas of my play. I was able to get incrementally better each week from the advice and handouts he offered, overall elevating my ability to play dramatically.
Chris is a very down to earth guy - and despite being an excellent musician was not even a little pretentious in carefully explaining concepts that were basic, but that i needed to know.
Overall, Chris takes the time to very effectively communicate how you can improve your guitar skills, and if you put in the practice from his instruction - you'll see the results.
He's also a nice guy and very easy to talk to.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Raymond for almost two years. I have enjoyed the lessons tremendously and have improved my playing. Raymond is a very patient teacher and is able to effectively communicate his ideas on how I can improve."

My 1st lesson with Jason was very relaxed & professional. I learned more in 45 minutes than the last 5 months on my own in regards to reading music, rhythm, timing and playing the notes on the staff. He is very patient and knowledgeable. His diversity in music provides an understanding of where you are at and where you want to go with music. I look forward to my next lesson with Jason.
Ole !"

Josh has been the best guitar teach I have had (I have had three others in the past). He is exceedingly patient, flexible and very knowledgeable about the subject, for both theory and practice.
I have a better understanding of the mechanics, style and technique of classical guitar than I had coming in and have learned some really excellent pieces. Josh works at my pace and understands when work and 'life' interfere with my ability to practice during the week."

If you're a fan of classic country music, you've come to the right place. Here, guitar teacher Willy M. shares his favorite classic country songs for guitarists... I grew up in the late '70s and early '80s in the rural Midwest when "Hee-Haw," a country television program, was something that everyone knew about. It was the Grand Ole Opry’s rendition of a high-theatrical experience, and a showcase for classic country artists to play their tunes. Willie Nelson, one of my favorite songwr …
