"Experienced voice teacher of 10 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages 13 and up. I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong vocal technique. I am a proponent of Functional Singing which focuses on how the vocal mechanism works. It allows both teacher and singer to explore the voice and its associated muscle systems. Singers learn to embrace their voice, not one that is falsified through imitation.
Want to sing as easy as you speak? Then contact me and let's get to work.

About Shannon

Shannon teaches functional singing which aims to improve vocal range, stamina, endurance, flexibility, and most importantly: healthy singing. Shannon received her M.M. in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University. She has performed extensively in Europe and the U.S. in opera, musical thea

Shannon is a great instructor and just a cool, funny person. She makes learning fun and even when she's being critical (that's what I pay her for, btw), she does it in such a way as to truly be helpful. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons. It's a highlight of my week, and my friends, who I play music and sing with, have noticed a real improvement in my singing voice since I've been working with her. I highly recommend hiring her as your vocal coach. FYI, I am a male in my 50's who just started singing in recent years. I wish I had been working with her since I was in my teens or 20's.

Shannon is undoubtedly an expert in her field! She's especially good at identifying mistakes and helping you adjust them. She has a great attitude and makes it easy to overcome the anxiety that you may feel from trying something new. Overall, she's awesome!

"I am 43 and started my first musical instrument experience with Concetta, with no background and knowledge of music theory at all. Needless to say how challenging it was at first, but with her dedication, professionalism and friendly approach, I made a significant progress in about 7 months. I am so happy to have Concetta as my violin teacher and would definitely recommend her."

"I could not recommend a better teacher and person in Eulis. His kind spirit, patient demeanor, and gifted voice provides any student with a strong example of what a professional musician looks like. What most people need is someone who doesn't just paint by the numbers but who is able to assess your goals, talents and desires and match it with just the right program; you'll progress quickly and enjoy every minute of the effort. Because of his vast experience, breadth of skills and years of singing, Eulis provides the kind of musical insights that help you find out who you are and discover or refine your voice. Thanks, Eulis for all the great work we've done together and I look forward to more!"
