About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."

Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.

Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.

Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

When I signed up for this class, I didn't expect to gain everything that I did. The first lesson I was so nervous and just felt silly trying to sing notes to someone online that I had just met. I signed up for personal pleasure and confidence building, and it took a little bit for me to come out of my shell, but the difference that she has made in my life was way beyond what I signed up for. Everyone could see the difference in me! Previously, I would not get up to do karaoke unless someone dragged me up to do it, and even then I felt like I was going to have a panic attack. Now, I'm picking out songs to try in all kinds of genres, my voice has improved, and the confidence to get up and sing in front of others is soooo much better. Natalie became more than my teacher, she became my friend! She is hilarious, fun, very patient, and empathetic. She will take the time to help you with whatever you want to work on, whether it is music or in my case helping me write a letter to my Dad who had just passed for his memorial. So, If you are looking for someone that can teach you to grow in your craft or help you gain confidence and make it fun, Natalie is the best person for the job!

About Brianna
Hi, I'm Bri! I'm a graduate of North Central College with a BA in Music (Emphasis in Composition and Percussion) and a minor in History. I absolutely love music, every single aspect of it. I love to make music a part of everybody's lives who want and need it. I want to help you with your musical needs. I have been playing percussion for 19 years, singing for 25, and playing piano for 20 years. I was a member of a recording and performing Chicago band, Oblio and Arrow, where I provided backing vocals and helped with the song arrangements. I am currently a member of Trip City Lights, an LA local funk/soul band, where I provide lead and backing vocals. I also record vocals for different artists hooks, jingles, choruses, and songs (covers and originals). I have also composed/arranged various pieces for ensembles, bands, vocal groups, choirs,
plays, musicals, commercials, etc. I've worked with folks locally in LA, and all over the world. I love what I do!

History has always fascinated me. The way our world has developed and changed and continues to evolve is amazing. Everything can be tied back to the past, and I feel it's important to take a look back, put yourself in that time, and really study how things were to help understand why things are the way they are now.

Crocheting and knitting are a couple of good habits/hobbies I picked up about 10 years ago. I sell scarves online and I'm always working on some sort of project. I will have you knitting and pearling with the best of them!

Music, history, crochet, and knitting....I'm your girl!

Having tutored middle and high school students, I've learned that the best tutoring session is 2 hours. This gives the student time to discuss school challenges, how to solve school related problems, to discuss various subjects, etc. Young students are often not prepared for my visit even when they know in advance that I am coming, so every additional minute can be useful. However, I am totally flexible on this so you are invited to tell me what you believe would be a good session length for you.

My ultimate goal, for working with you, is to hear you say, "I am so glad we found you!" When you feel that you have reached a satisfactory level of learning/development through our working together, you are invited to terminate our tutor/tutee relationship. Let's remain friends, though. Please watch my video. I am the real deal; you
can see the real me.

I am from Colombia where I used to be both, an English and Spanish Teacher. I did it for over 15 years and thanks God I did a great job in all institutions I worked for. My accent is from Bogotá, Colombia, and I have a very learned spanish level. Many people say that in Colombia, specially in Bogotá, you will find one of the best places to learn this language as our accent is neutral. I have developed a skilled and easy technique to teach this beautiful language. On the other hand I am an artist. About Charli
I’m Charli, “Ms. Char” for short. I have been working with children in various educational settings for a little over 10 years English being one of my favorites to teach and tutor.

I’m currently finishing my degree at Temple University in English. I’m also a releasing my first published children’s book entitled “You’re too little”.

I believe books and writing gives our minds the opportunity to be imaginative and expressive. To travel the world without ever leaving our rooms. To design characters and places we never thought to explore.

Through out my academic journey I have experienced writer’s block, creative ruts, and master the art of doodling while deleting (lol).

I desire to help you build on your strengths as a reader and writer. Implementing instruction that will challenge and bring about improvements in a safe and
fun environment.

My name is Blake Bradford and I am a senior in high school. I play varsity lacrosse for my high school team and play ultimate frisbee. I recently finished my college application process, where I was required to write a total of 25 (I know, right?) essays. Princeton is my number one choice for college, and wouldn't it be cool to say you're being tutored by someone who is going to Princeton? Anyways, I am able to provide reviews of my services along with my resume upon request.

With several of Blake’s ACT and SAT tutoring sessions under my belt, I can proudly say my score has increased. ACT from 24 to a 28 and SAT from 1190 to 1310. He knew how to answer any question I had trouble with and broke it down in a way so that anyone can understand. Also, very good pricing compared to other tutors!

Blake has been a blessing to my family because his successful tutoring sessions have alleviated so much stress over my son's math classes. He has a way of connecting with my 14 year old son, where other tutors, teachers, and professionals have not.
Not only is Blake an awesome tutor, but he is a smart, patient, and kind young man. His hard-work ethic, positive attitude, and success in both academics and sports, serves as a glowing example for our son!
