Math is much more fun when it makes sense, isn’t it?!
My lessons are unique because you are unique. Everyone doesn’t learn the same way, so I will explain math the way it makes sense to you so that you can understand. I have experience in tutoring as I was a peer tutor in high school. Of those I tutored, many told me I explain math well, so here I am to share my skills! I am patient, understanding, and friendly, which I believe are important qualities for a tutor to have. I hope I have the chance to work with you! You are smart and very capable!!!

About Tessa

I am a 2018 graduate of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. I began tutoring in a program called EIP (PROMISE Early Involvement Program) where each Saturday I tutored 9th graders in different subjects including math. Later, I was a tutor for a 3 week program there known as EXCEL, where I

Mathematics has been lost in translation in todays educational institution and this is obvious with new Common Core Strategies.

My experience has shown that when educating an individual, the less layers of complexity and the more pure conceptual math the better and more dynamic the understanding.

My lessons in all Mathematical courses include multiple perspective views of any topic, a visual, a auditory, and kinesthetic practice for finalization. This has been a successful practice in teaching all levels of educated individuals for the last 7+ years.

About Christopher

With eight years experience at Valencia College and 2 years at University of Central Florida I have experienced a wide variety of students between the ages 7 to 60 years. This experience has enabled me to customize lessons in one to one sessions with each unique student and their unique needs.

I can teach students understand the basic concepts of Math: addition. subtraction, multiplication and division using the Abacus. This tool will help students with dyscalculia overcome their math problems. Math won't be a struggle anymore but rather enjoyable and fun. The Soroban Japanese Abacus is an ancient tool that trains the brain and improves the memory. It will improve the student skills and speed in Math.

My name is Laila. I am a mother of four children ages 22,20,18&13. I have BS in Computer Science and MA in Accounting. In addition, I am a reading therapist . I run an online reading clinic for dyslexic students to help them with their literacy struggles. I'm bilingual English/Arabic, and while

We love our Arabic teacher! Ms. Layla is a caring and committed individual who is comprehensive in her teaching approach as well as fun and kid-friendly in her teaching style. It’s such a relief to know that our child is receiving excellent Arabic instruction on a weekly basis. She will adjust her curriculum and pace according to your family’s needs. At first, we wondered how engaging an online experience would be for our seven year old, but we’ve been super happy with Ms. Layla.

"AMAZING! If I were to choose 1 word to describe Maurice's skill, talent & patience it would be AMAZING! My son has struggled academically for years & we have tried many other tutors with no improvement. Maurice came into our lives & my son went from D's & F's to consistently maintaining A's, B's & C's. We couldn't be happier & more proud of all the progress made. Maurice is always welcome in our home & with 2 younger daughters in grade school he'll be part of the family by the time were done with tutoring!"

By giving her students the right tools and the right space to do their work and really understand their subjects allowed many kids in my school to graduate with their diplomas. How to Analyze an Argument in an Essay | 4 Easy Steps
