Susan.
Alyssa is an upbeat, encouraging, and patient teacher. Her own singing voice is beautiful, and she sings very professionally in a wide range of genres. She is reliable, pleasant, sincere, and capable. She gives each student her full attention and tailors her lessons to each one's particular talent (as well as where they're in need of improvement). I recommend Alyssa very highly... She's delightful!

I have known Alyssa now for about a year and she is a true master of her art form. She is knowledgeable and genuine in her teaching and performing, and always seeks the best for her students. I highly recommend her as your teacher.

"I am in awe that such a talented, flexible and organized teacher is available to work with my 11yo daughter. Bill has extensive professional experience in acting and auditions. He is very organized with helpful homework sent out in advance of class.

My child is just getting into acting but I strongly believe his coaching on voice will help her for many years. In fact I’m tempted to sign up more family members for Bill’s instruction."

"I wish I could list all the areas that this woman has helped me improve. From poetry, to spoken word, to acting, to being a better person, she has helped me grow as a person and a performer.

She has helped me find and shape my voice as a poet/spoken word artist, Tsion the Wordsmith (pronounced Zion). She has taught me simple English lessons on semantics, how to allow myself to breath on stage, even how to be a better public speaker. Just listen to an example of her work or look up anything I have done and you will see her stamp all over it.

For years, I refused to trust anyone to hear my work and help me improve it. She was the first person who helped me be me; she didn't try to change me as a writer/performer. She only sought to help me better myself (she will probably read this review and critique it lol).

If I had to pick one person to trust to help me in the area of the arts, it would be Tokia C.! You will only be better for working with this wonderful woman!!!"

"Patricia was an absolute lifesaver! I have never felt comfortable with my dancing and my wedding was approaching. I only had two weeks because I always wait until the last minute. Patricia had me dancing comfortably and confidently after just one lesson. I just wanted to be able to keep a beat, learn a few basic moves, and she completely exceeded my expectations. Not a lot of instructors teach basic dancing and focus on choreographed moves which is not what I was looking for. Thank you, Patricia for your time, patience and for the gift of dancing!"

An Actor's Life: Your Career Path to New York Shows

If you're an aspiring Broadway performer, the steps you take during high school play a significant role in your success on the stages of New York shows in the future. Sure, you sometimes hear stories of people who book amazing lead roles in shows after a single audition, but that’s not a realistic view of how it all happens - for most actors, at least. Ask any working Broadway performer – New York is not a city that hands you success simply because you’ve just moved there. Hard work, disc …
