I will give you the confidence to overcome your stage fright fears. We will also work hard to improve specific voice, speech problems you may be encountering in your auditions and live work.

Hello, my name is Anna and I have more than 22 years of the experience in ballroom dancing. I can teach Latin, ballroom, rhythm, smooth dances, including West Coast swing, salsa, merengue, Argentine tango, almost all couple dances, you name it. I have a huge experience working with the beginners with both left feet and with gold dancers, as well with pro dancers; I’m a national champion of my country and World Cup finalist, but as you remember: I have a huge experience with the beginners and two left feeters) I do believe in dancing, both: social and competitive and that’s why along with physical teaching I want to reach to everyone and share benefits of ballroom dancing)
Do you need to have a partner?! Preferably...but if you happen to be alone at home, I’ll teach you using whatever you will have around: tables, chairs, doors, etc.
Solo dancing?! Not a problem, I’ll teach you how to dance on your own
Wedding couple?! Great! I’ll teach you how to beautifuly dance together stress ...

Excellent instructor!! Great ability to teach!

We are complete novices for ballroom dancing-- Anna was wonderfully helpful in connecting prior to the lesson and preparing to help us get the most out of the hour that we booked. She is energetic, vivacious and has a highly effective teaching style. she is able to break the dance down with cues and rhythms that are easy to grasp and remember. We will definitely go back to her for another lesson.
Victoria
I used to dance back in Russia for a couple years but I forgot everything since then. I’m glad I found Anna who speaks not only my language but also Russian. Just for a couple classes I refreshed my abilities and decided to go further with Anna and this is my favorite thing to do on earth for now.

Whether you're completely brand new or have had more experience flexing your acting muscles, I'd love to help you take your next steps as a young artist. I began performing in musicals at the age of five for an audience of 2,000 people! It certainly took a lot of work to get over my nerves and I'd like to help you do the same. If you're just starting out, we may play some theatre games and practice on some simple texts until you're confident enough to take on some tougher material. If you're more advanced, we will likely dig into some new characters and work on developing your technique and building your repertoire. First and foremost, I want to meet you wherever where you are on your personal journey with acting and help you work toward your goals, however general or specific they may be at this time. Let me know if you have any questions!

About Carissa

Hi! I'm Carissa, a working actor and playwright, and would love to work with you on your craft! I grew up heavily immersed in the arts from a young age. For Middle School and High School I attended one of the top Performing Arts schools in the State of California, where I was able to take classes s

I'm a professional screenwriter. I've written on both cable and network dramas. And I've sold a feature. I graduated from Film School / Dramatic Writing nine years ago. I'm in the Writers Guild, and have the trifecta of representation. And I've also self-published two collections of one-act plays available on all e-reader platforms.

I'm happy to do consultations on projects you are looking to rewrite or submit to contests. Or if you are just starting out on something new and wants to talk through all the story beats and track it together before you begin a draft.

I can also recommend the best books to read on both the craft and the industry, as well as screenplays and pilots to read (and which ones to avoid).

Learn how to navigate not only the business and landing that first job, but also how to develop a project with a production company, and participate/conduct yourself properly in a TV writer's room.

About Adam

Graduated New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. Majored in Dramatic Writing and minored in English

Adam is a really great listener and excellent source of thought provoking, well timed input that has really helped me develop and improve my story organically without changing its intention with strong suggestions as most people's feedback often attempts to do. If you're looking for a hand in finding your own voice and to strengthen your writing skills or excellent constructive feedback for your story then look no further.

Adam Gaines is a godsend. I was really lucky to have his guidance over the years which helped my craft and dedication to the art of writing greatly. He is a proven writer with legitimate credits but also, he actually cares. He is always ready to help and takes your material seriously which is most important when you want honest feedback and guidance. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of films, screenwriting, and the industry that is both impressive and beneficial. He is a wonderful friend and mentor who will always have a great recommendation or suggestion ready for your work and/or career. Adam is an extremely open individual with an immense passion for film and the craft of screenwriting which becomes infectious. That trait is crucial since it keeps you driven to keep learning and grow. He is also an excellent conversationalist with his own voice which is truly refreshing. Highly recommend.
Shadia
Adam gives you insightful comments on how to make you a better writer. He knows what good dialogue sounds like and with a couple suggestions you instantly know how to re-work your writing to give it a natural flow.

Hi and Welcome! In addition to holding a Masters Degree in Acting from New York University, I have been a professional working actor for over 30 years and have been fortunate to work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in television and film. I teach Acting to all ages and skill levels, as well as Singing Performance (focuses on the 'story" of the song, not technique). Whether you are pursuing acting as a profession or not, the benefits of theater training can be profound on many levels. We humans love to play. We love stories. I encourage fellow actors to be confident, joyful, and fearless with their creativity. I teach emotional literacy, empathy, and the value of failing well and often. I inspire actors to build their own "arsenal" of tools that will serve you throughout your creative life. For professionals, I am happy to work on audition material, monologues, and scenes. For young artists, I am thrilled to work on auditions for BFA programs, scholarships, summer intensives, and more.

About Ashley

Safety and respectful collaboration are the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I encourage a passion for play, self-discovery, and a willingness to see yourself as an artist who has the power to affect change in our world. My acting life began when I was ten, participating in community theater a

"Sara was very nice and went over basic steps and postures thoroughly, correcting mine. I learned some basics I didn't pick up for years of ballet classes and truly appreciate her being so thoughtful and attentive to the details. I also brought questions on certain steps I couldn't master. Sara patiently showed how to start the steps and how to do them better. I already look forward to my second lesson with Sara!"
