Eugene is a shockingly talented ballroom dancer. He is a strong leader and is capable of teaching lessons with an easy, yet highly informative approach. His knowledge of ballroom technique and etiquette is extensive, but most importantly he makes it enjoyable. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I enjoyed dancing with him and I enjoyed learning from him. He is a valuable asset to any student, novice or expert!

Worked with Eugene several times both alone and with a partner. Standard Foxtrot, Rhythm Chacha, East Coast Swing, and Smooth Viennese Waltz, covering both technique and choreography. I am looking forward to future lessons in any dance. He is meticulous and fun! I compete Gold Bar.

Lessons begin with fun warm-up games learning the basic rules of improv. After studying with The Groundlings and The Second City as well as performing professionally with "The-Grown-ups Playground" in NYC, I've learned a plethora of games! After the warm-up I start students off with a few games centered on physicality and from there will move to fun games revolving around quick, funny emotional changes and end with games creating characters. Lessons are always a blast and students leave encouraged and up for anything as they learn how improv actually can help their daily lives as well!

Speech lessons are beneficial for many reasons. Perhaps you are getting ready for an interview, or your voice is frequently hoarse, maybe you desire your voice to sound different or perhaps you are a voice over artist looking to add a dialect or wanting to work on inflections. Speaking voice lessons give techniques on how to properly use the voice in a healthy way on a daily basis. If you are interested in the anatomy of the voice, I am more than happy to teach you that as well.

About Lauren

Lauren graduated from McNally Smith College of Music magna cum laude in 2011 with a bachelors in vocal performance. She played everywhere from Duluth. "Jeremy Kruse is a working actor and an excellent coach who showed me how fun and rewarding a career in film and television could be. Being a student of Jeremy's for almost two whole years, I looked to him as both a mentor and a friend. He taught everything from breaking down a script to being typecast for a role; even going as far to recreate the physical conditions of an audition space. Since departing from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, he's been supportive of my own endeavors as a rising actor, both putting me in touch with a voiceover coach and encouraging me to take up improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade. I began working with Jeremy my first year of highschool and have witnessed firsthand how well his contagious enthusiasm and cultivated professionalism influences his pupils, no matter their age or level of experience. Now four years later, I can say with confidence that were it not for Jeremy Kruse and my class with him every Saturday for 80 weeks, I wouldn't be as devoted as I am today to pursuing acting as a career."

"I always had a problem with public speaking. I don't articulate words well and don't have any volume. I'm shy and uncomfortable in front of people. Nicholas worked on vocal lessons and how to enunciate and project. We also did breathing exercises and where to place the tongue with words. I improved my diction and with that, got more confidence in speaking in front of people, which is important in my job. Highly Recommend."
