About Alicia
Alicia has been playing the violin since she can remember thanks to her very talented musical family. Because of their efforts she received her first exposure to loving and teaching music at an early age through attending and later assisting her mother's Suzuki string program. They also afforded her the opportunity to learn with some of the finest violin teachers Miami has to offer.
A proud alumni of Miami's public arts programs, including those of Southwood Middle School, Coral Reef Senior High and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, Alicia encourages all of her school-age students to explore their options of participating in the various youth arts organizations in the community.
In addition to her 15+ years training in violin technique and classical repertoire, she also has had almost 10 years of classical piano instructi
on and has had the privilege to perform classical, jazz, blues, latin and pop music from coast to coast and in Europe.

Ms. Lorna is an excellent teacher. My daughter, Michelle, has learned a lot in a short period of time. As a mother, I did not know the importance of using voice techniques such proper breathing, techniques used to avoid injury to your vocal area, etc. There is so much more we both have learned. Essentially, this has improved her singing ability. I believe she has the potential to succeed at singing with Ms. Lorna as her teacher. She has really improved. Additionally, Ms. Lorna encourages her. Michelle loves taking the singing classes and looks forward to attending each. Thank you!

Mrs. Lorna is a great coach. She is patient and really wants you to learn. I have no singing experience so I'm starting from 0 and she's really encouraging. I truly recommend anyone who wants to improve to choose her as her coach, I already see improvements in my singing voice when I wasn't even sure it was possible.

I've been teaching Music for 5 plus years and my students have gone on to accomplish great things. My goal and challenge for every student is to teach them how to play, read and listen to music. This will enable them the ability to play any song and any style of music. I specialize in Jazz, R&B and Classical. Typically I learn my students leaning habits whether its hands on or visual and their attention span, so I can't effectively teach my students.

About Charles
I have acquired over five years of teaching experience, travel from ages 5 to 17 acting and playing music. In addition I am a full-time music teacher and spend my free time volunteering at a local high school teaching music. I love music and teaching, it is amazing to see the look on a student face when they learn something new and even better when they perform and stun the audience the joy that my students get makes me happy its confirmation of a job well done.

I love music because it isn't just about what you're singing or playing, it's about how you play it and what emotions you're getting across! I want to teach upcoming musicians not just how to play music but how to really get your own message across.
