Heavy emphasis on technique (specifically right hand), tone production (making sure your guitar sounds good), and reading notation. These aspects are the core elements of any good classical guitar player.
I usually like to cover at least some sort of technical work every lesson, followed by building a basic repertoire of music
About Christian
My name is Christian L. and I am a 29 year old guitar/music instructor in the Orlando area. My interest in guitar began when I was 12 years old and blossomed into a full time obsession about 3 years later when I started playing small gigs as a solo guitarist playing simple jazz and classical pieces

At the end of every class, he sends me an email with notes and recordings of him showing how to play a piece, so I have access to all the tips and references from my classes.
Also, I love how he reminds me to rest my arm, play with minimal necessary tension, so that playing is comfortable!!
Finally, I find his calm, patient presence creates a good atmosphere for me to learn as I feel comfortable making a mistake while having guidance how to fix it.
