I teach from beginner to Advanced 6-70 years of age, if you have the desire to sing I can teach you :)

I focus on singing at the level of speech. As easy as it is to speak it should be to sing.

With proper training any style can be achieved.

About Nicole
My name is Nicole but you can call me Nikki! Here's a little about me and what I've accomplished.

My Background:
I have been singing since the age of four! I am a native of Miami Beach Florida. I started performing in church and school where my passion for performing were developed. Having come from such a background I was privileged with a well rounded musical tastes, from Gospel in church Classical in school, and Reggae, Pop, Rock, and R&B from her parents. In performing in contests and local shows I learned a lot about stage presence and can share that with my students as well. I earned my bachelor's in Studio Music and Jazz Voice at the University of Miami and Minored in Music Business. At UM I had the opportunity to study with critically acclaimed Jazz musicians and artists such as Kevin Mahogany, Kurt Elling and John Secada. S
ince earning my degree I've worked with the Florida Grand Opera in their production of Aida, also sang background vocals for Gloria Estefan and Michael Buble. I currently perform around South Florida at various hot spots with my self titled band! So those who teach can do too!

My main objective as a performer is to effectively and skillfully entertain a variety of audiences to the best of my ability using the knowledge that I have attained from my experiences as a student and as an entertainer, and in turn work for an established business in the music industry and become a successful artist.

My objective as an educator is to not only teach my students about music but allowing them to grow and flourish as performers and as musicians, with proper technique the skies the limit!

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching style is pretty laid back and fun, it will take work and dedication on the part of my students to work on the new skills and techniques they will be learning under my direction. In the first 2 months we will focus on technique, meaning breathing exercises, vowel placements, warm ups, and execution of a song of the students choice, by the third month these exercises would have improved your vocals ability tremendously we can then work on stylizing for the particular genre your interested in singing in. Each student will have a personally tailored lesson plan to better help them in their goals to be a better singer and performer. I do prefer students in the age ranges 12 and up, only because the voice hasn't fully developed yet to do extensive vocalizing but with younger students we can focus on breathing, warming up properly and theory, which is so important at a young age and will better assist you especially when it comes to developing your ears. If you're wanting to learn to sing in different styles without losing your voice or hurting yourself I'm the teacher for you!

*** Studio Equipment ***
Keyboard in living Room: couches and chairs, parents can sit in on lesson

*** Travel Equipment ***
Keyboard should be provided by student, I will provide mic and amp

*** Specialties ***
Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz Styles are my specialties.

Ms Lorna is a great instructor and very professional. I intend to continue to develop my singing ability with her. There were times I thought I just couldn't do it, but she is so encouraging and also assured me I can do it. My confidence level has increased tremendously so has my ability to sing from my diaphragm, not my throat. I truly recommend this instructor.

For a dramatic and swift change in the quality of your voice, contact Dyce Kimura. Within a short time frame, achieving impressive high notes, control, and a powerful voice is within your grasp. Dyce provides vocal training techniques which are industry standards for some of the most successful artists working today.

About Dyce
Dyce’s action-packed lessons get aspiring students learning real songs in no time—all while teaching them music theory and scales that connects the music to relatable, practical theory. His custom-tailored lessons are based on this realization. “I know that all of my students are unique, both as people, and as musicians,” Dyce states, “so I realized that my lessons should celebrate these differences.” Instead of following a rigid, “cookie-cutter” approach to teaching, he makes allowances for these differences, and custom tailors a lesson plan that enriches their musical tastes, goals, and strengths. Dyce has learned, over two decades of playing and teaching professionally, when to push students—and when to stay out of the way. This sort of expert guidance helps students flourish, because they learn music on their own terms.

I've been teaching singing for 6 years and my students have gone on to improve their singing, and become more confident in their daily lives. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to apply aspects of a healthy singing technique to your favorite songs, and as time goes on you'll be able to sing more easily and efficiently. I specialize in all styles of singing. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Lauren

I've been teaching private lessons since 2009 and have loved helping my students sing with a healthy technique and increase their self confidence. I am currently an opera student of the world renowned vocal pedagogue, Manny Perez. I went to Shepherd University and The Longy School of Music and earned a BA degree in Music and an MM degree and GPD in Opera . I'm a fun and down to earth person, and my teaching style is based in proper technique, as well as helping you to find what works for you with a personalized lesson plan. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and full potential!

Studio has a baby grand piano, and an upright piano, several music stands, and some varied repertoire for use. It also has a nice seating area for parents that wish to observe
lessons.

Piano beginner repertoire for children and teens: John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course and the Piano Adventures series. Supplemental music also used to aid in development

Older teen and adult beginner repertoire: Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course. Supplemental music also used to aid in development.

Voice repertoire, will be tailored to each individual student but I recommend the 24 Italian Songs and Arias book, as well as the Teen's Musical Theatre Collection or Kids Broadway Collection for beginners.

I emphasize a vocal technique rooted in the classical tradition, because it provides an excellent foundation for any style the student is interested in singing.

I have had significant formal musical training, as well as years of experience working as a singer and teacher. I have performed and taught in a variety of styles, including opera, classical, pop, folk, and musical theater.

Learning to use proper breath support, resonance, and clarity of tone are all important aspects of singing, regardless of the style being sung. I typically use individually tailored vocal exercises to teach technical details at the beginning of the lesson. We also work on specific repertoire choices aimed at improving those newfound technical skills.

About Ana
Hey there! The first thing I want to tell you about studying with me is that my highest priority is making it fun. I’ve found that cultivating the student’s genuine interest and enjoyment of the music learning process is the biggest contributor to progress.

In the first lesson, communication is very important to me. I want to find out what you love about music, so that we can build skills which directly contribute to your musical passions. My approach with a new student involves discussing what they are hoping to get out of taking lessons. Together, we come up with a series of goals that we will work towards achieving during our sessions. I believe in tailoring the lesson to each individual student- there is no one size fits all method to learning!

I welcome students of all skill levels and ages, including complete beginners!

I h
ave had significant formal musical training, as well as years of experience working as a singer and teacher. I have performed and taught in a variety of styles, including opera, classical, pop, folk, and musical theater. I have a Bachelor of Music degree, and I’m about to complete my Master’s degree in Classical Vocal Performance. I emphasize a vocal technique rooted in the classical tradition, because it provides an excellent foundation for any style the student is interested in singing.

I can provide repertoire for you, and I also am open to working on pieces that you are interested in learning.

I am a graduate student at the University of Miami studying music therapy and I have a bachelor's degree in jazz voice. I can teach many different styles of singing, including musical theatre, classical, and jazz. I will help students learn music theory and vocal technique to complement their preferred styles of music. All ages are welcome, I love working with kids! I also have experience working with students with special needs.

About Marisa
I have been singing and playing the piano since I was a young child. I have participated in Broadway trainings in New York, have done classical voice and opera training, and for the last four years in college have studied jazz voice. I am an arranger and teacher of music theory. I have experience working with children in music and theater programs. I also have worked as a cantor at a church where the congregation is primarily comprised of senior citizens.

Prior to my graduation, I was in the top two vocal ensembles at California State University, Long Beach. For the past two summers I had the honor of performing internationally with the CSULB Chamber Choir. We were invited to sing at the 2016 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. This experience culminated in my choir winning the esteemed title of Choir of the World. In the summ

As a jazz voice student I was a member of Pacific Standard Time, a vocal jazz ensemble, that has won student music awards from Down Beat Magazine for the past seven years in a row. My primary instrument is voice. I have been taking singing lessons since the age of 9, specializing in pop/rock and musical theater. When I entered college, I received classical voice lessons and really learned how the human voice works. My voice lessons will be filled with skills in good healthy singing, while still learning music that is of interest to the student. In addition to healthy singing technique, some stage presence will also be taught.

About Kadhine
Hi! My name is Kadhine Rodriguez. I started my teaching career in Tampa, FL while I was in college teaching private voice and piano. I received my bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of South Florida in 2011. During my time in Tampa, I was heavily involved in a lot of performances, both inside and outside of school. In addition to studying and teaching privately, I also worked in a community theater in Tampa where I not only performed in shows but was the musical director to their youth theater shows. After graduation, I came back home to Miami to start my public school teaching career. I have been teaching in Miami Dade public schools since 2011 and have taught PK-5 general music, choir (all levels) and guitar (upper elementary and middle school). In 2015, I was fortunate enough to become a Little Kids Rock certified
teacher which has taught me about guitar and rock bands. In 2016, I graduated with a masters degree from Florida International University, also in Music Education. I look forward to working with you and/or your child in your musical journey!
