So I signed up for lessons with Steve. I took piano lessons from Steve for about 18 months. I moved about an hour away, so it was not practical to continue with him.
The lessons from Steve were exactly what I was looking for. He figured out my skill level and set up a plan for me. He stressed the fundamentals while teaching a song at the same time. Being able to play a song, even a simple one, was a great reward. Then we progressed to develop more skills and more interesting songs.
Steve is patient, attentive and a good coach. He genuinely loves teaching and finds that “spark” in to build on. I saw this many times as I would listen to him teaching the student before me.
Steve is a great teacher and I strongly recommend him.

I've had the pleasure getting to know Mike while touring, drumming, marching in Drum Corps drumlines throughout the years. I have learned so much from his extensive musical knowledge and he continues to inspire me to be a better drummer and percussionist today. Mike Washinton is a great teacher, with a giant personality and most importantly a great friend! Book a lesson with him today and you will grow into the great drummer you aspire to be!"

Sean really knows percussion. I've witnessed this both during lessons and when my family watched him perform with the Lone Tree Symphony. Sean is wonderful with kids. Although my son has attention issues, Sean is extremely patient, and he is able to efficiently redirect and focus my son. With Sean, music lessons are enjoyable. He has taken the time to get to know my son and how my son learns. I feel like the lessons are tailored extremely well for my child's abilities. Best of all, Sean is just a wonderful person. He's easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. My son looks forward to his lessons with Sean each week. You won't find a better percussion instructor!"

David is great he motivates my son, provides correction with kindness. Provides helpful suggestions in technique, practice form. It is fun for my son to learn the drums. My son has tried other instructors without having the same motivation and fun so this is refreshing easy way to get him lessons."
