While focusing primarily on technique and theory, we'll also spend at least part of each lesson being creative together, whether improvising, or writing something, or just playing a game, because I believe that to be a well-rounded musician is to know how to communicate one's own ideas fluently. We'll also explore a variety of styles, including rock, country, pop, folk, and jazz, and we will learn songs both using a pick and using the fingers. Guitar lessons are tailored to students of all ages, ability levels and musical interests. Guitar students will be taught music literacy, technique and musicianship in a creative and innovative way. While incorporating traditional guitar methods with contemporary sources, students are exposed to a wide variety of music from various cultures and time periods. Students will be encouraged to perform in the community and to participate in ensembles.

I've been teaching one-on-one lessons for about 25yrs, in Guitar, Bass, & Drums. Lessons are personalized & tailored to each student's needs & goals, in their own style of learning. The classical guitar (also known as concert guitar, classical acoustic, nylon-string guitar, or Spanish guitar) is the member of the guitar family used in classical music. It is an acoustical wooden guitar with strings made of nylon, rather than the metal strings used in acoustic and electric guitars.

You will learn how to play the classical guitar. Lessons you will learn is how to hold the guitar, move your fingers, play melodies, exercises and learn compositions. Also you will learn the basics like rhythm notation, time signatures, reading tablature, fretboard diagrams and reading notations. All styles and lessons will include the basics.
