My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

Hi! My name is Leah, and I love to teach music! My specialties are string orchestra instruments, including violin, which I have been playing since I was five years old, viola, cello, and upright bass. I am currently finishing my degree in Music Education at Temple University, with a violin concentration. I have performed violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, and percussion, as well as singing, in community ensembles. I have worked successfully with beginners all the way up to advanced musicians who are preparing for competitive auditions. I am passionate about teaching technique, musicianship skills, and repertoire in a way that is fun but also highly effective. I look forward to working with you!!!!!!!!

I offer Technical studies, Solo pieces, NYSSMA, Scales and Arpeggios, Bow Technique, Symphony Repertoire, School Orchestra and other ensemble work and Reading skills. My students do great at NYSSMA, All County as well as LI String Festival. What I teach you, you' ll take with you for ever. Let' s get playing!

I am a classically-trained and educated Cellist with deep experience playing with Symphony Orchestra’s, Chamber Orchestra’s, Ensemble’s, Quartets, and Solo. I am currently working at Loudoun symphony orchestra and Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. If your goal is to start learning how to play cello, improve your skill, to play any particular piece, get ready for any special event, develop your sight reading or just enjoy playing this beautiful instrument - I am happy to help you. I know how to find inspiration, making interesting even exercise routine, we will work at developing your artistic and professional skills and find the best way to express yourself by the cello.

I am currently a Doctoral candidate at The Juilliard School. I have been teaching students range from 7 years-old to people who are in their 70s. Helping students from different back ground, age group, and levels of playing has been very rewarding. I help my students preparing for their recitals, competitions, all state exams, or simply learning a new piece of music. I believe in tailoring teaching to each student's needs. I have over 6 years of experience teaching private lessons in addition to teaching seminars on songwriting and music business at Infinity Visual and Performing Arts and SUNY JCC.

I teach both online and in-person lessons at my studio in Nashville and offer 30 and 60 minute lessons.

I have played over 1,000 shows, both solo and as an auxiliary musician for other touring acts. I performed on over 30 albums and have composed for radio, television, and internet video series, including sharing the stage with members of the 10,000 Maniacs. I've been featured in The New York Times, on the CBS Evening News, and on NPR.

While each student is different, I do generally start everyone on either Suzuki or the Essential Elements books.
