Alex was born May 31, 1987. Since both of his parents were band directors, he grew up in a very musically inclined family. When he was 15 years old, during his freshman year of high school, he started studying percussion. A year later he began studying under Chad Kohler and continued to do so until

In our percussion class we will cover music theory, counting rhythms and discover a variety of percussion. The majority of this lesson will revolve around the Cajon, Shaker, Tamborine, and using brushes and snare technique and will explore african drums as well!
Bring your hacky sack and get ready for the drum circle. This class is perfect for groups and couples. Feel free to use the "ask a question" feature if you have any questions about this class or it's outline!
About Rachel
I started my musical path in a Ballet Studio. I fell in love with the crackle of the vinyl record playing as I learned to listen and dance with the rhythm. I started playing the guitar when I was in elementary and took classical lessons until I was a teenager.I really enjoy the art of practice

My first lesson was a good experience (4 stars). I don't know if he is the best ever (5 stars), but he must be darn close."

What a lucky draw it turned out to be. Tracy is a real pro, with a great personality. It took my son less than a few minutes before he was comfortable, having fun, and learning new things (he has 1 year experience).
I’ve been a part time musician for over 40 years, and I can tell you when I meet someone that is a true professional musician and the right person to teach my son. That is this exceptional woman."

From Online pupil from England George D.
Johnny is an awesome teacher. Instructive. Quick to find what you need to focus on. Patient. Insightful. Funny. Just what you need if your time is precious, but you can get in front of webcam for a few hours a week. He's helped me get those tones right and given me the confidence to grow. Really, really importantly he's always there for questions and support outside of the lessons."
