Hello, there. I have been teaching cello for many years. I truly enjoy fostering a love of music in my students. My undergraduate degree is in cello and voice.

I have been teaching cello to students of all ages for over six years. I aim to tailor my teaching plans to each student’s unique goals and learning habits. I structure my lessons so that students learn and play what they enjoy, while also building a strong foundation of fundamental cello technique.

My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

Hello, my name is Bailey and I love teaching cello! I am a professional pianist and public school orchestra teacher. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Fredonia School of Music. I am a certified K-12 music teacher in New York State. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years to a variety of learners ranging in age and skill level.
My students walk away each week feeling empowered and confident in their abilities. I am able to push you while making you feel excited about new challenges. I am able to assess what you need, and offer you meaningful feedback in small, digestible chunks. Along with all of this, I make lessons fun! With 5 years of teaching experience, Emily is excited to start cello lessons with you! She has performed for dozens of venues across 8 countries and 3 continents. Emily received 12 years of formalized training including 4 years of specialized instruction of the Alexander Technique at The Master's University. Consequently, she brings a comprehensive approach to cello instruction, utilizing knowledge of muscle and joint function to her teaching. Aside from using her talents weekly in a contemporary band setting, she also enjoys ensemble work in other capacities. She has performed in a commercial for the Porsche Panamera, a short film for EMD films, has recorded at Capital Records, and has had the pleasure of being the featured musician at various weddings, business functions, and private events. Emily hopes to not only train up talented musicians, but to also encourage responsibility, perseverance, and enjoyment through music!

I am a classically-trained and educated Cellist with deep experience playing with Symphony Orchestra’s, Chamber Orchestra’s, Ensemble’s, Quartets, and Solo. I am currently working at Loudoun symphony orchestra and Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra.
