Ray is an amazing teacher. My 11-year-old has high-functioning autism and has a great interest in learning music. I was hesitant to hire just any teacher, as many teachers don't have the patience and understanding to work with special needs kids. However, Ray has been not only patient, but he has an exceptional way of teaching my son in a way that he would understand and retain the information. Ray is creative, intuitive, and experienced. My son is very happy and enjoys the lesson every single time. Thanks Ray.

Learning to play the violin doesn't have to be a task. I believe conquering a musical instrument is as much about love as it is dedication. I wouldn't be where I am today without the love and support of my teachers throughout the years. With my teaching, I intend to instill great technical facility as well as a love and respect for the instrument. (Students must provide their own violin)

"I took up the drums at age 35 and took lessons with Keith for about a year - I give him my highest recommendation and would encourage other prospective drummers to seek him out! He has a contagious enthusiasm for both music and teaching, and I genuinely looked forward to my lessons. Learning drums (particularly as an adult) is a potentially frustrating endeavor, but Keith's methods emphasize constant progress: with every lesson I could feel and hear myself getting better. Practicing never felt like drudgery; rather, he motivated me to continue to learn at a comfortable pace.

He is both a talented musician and a gifted instructor, and I recommend him without reservation!

His pedagogical knowledge and investment in their vocal and musical progress makes him a mentor that knows how to produce tangible results. He is fun, inspirational, but relentless in his pursuit to produce sounds that I thought I would never be capable of. How to Practice Piano Arpeggios | Tips and Exercises

Don't forget about piano arpeggios when you sit down to practice! Here, Helendale, CA teacher Sylvia S. shares her tips for playing and practicing them...   One of the great masters of 20th century piano showmanship was Liberace, otherwise known as the Elvis of piano performance. Liberace’s trademarks were wildly ostentatious outfits, candelabras atop the piano, and dramatic, finger-tangling sweeps across the keyboard of a grand piano. Those dramatic sweeps, known as arpeggios, ar …
