I believe in teaching strong fundamentals so that we can have a solid foundation to build on. Good tone and an understanding of embouchure are most important, and we will develop technique. I enjoy helping students achieve their goals and develop their talents.

As a professional brass musician, I have been teaching brass instruments for over thirteen years.
For the beginner level, I have introduced many students to their first instrument ensuring that fundamentals are in place. At the intermediate level, I have helped many students advance in competitions and seat assignments within their band program. As a collegiate educator, I have given masterclasses at universities and private lessons to music performance students preparing for auditions and solo recitals.
I have taught online lessons for over four years and have used multiple online communication platforms to teach effective lessons. My students truly enjoy the online interaction during their lessons.
I have taught a wide variety of ages - everyone from 10 years old to 76 years old. One of the great joys I have in teaching is that each student brings their own unique strengths to lessons. My goal is to raise their level of playing while always having fun.

I would highly recommend Sarabeth to anyone looking for lessons."

Since I began studying with her last summer, she has helped me find a physical and mental equilibrium that I previously thought was unattainable. In addition, I have gained an invaluable and specific practical understanding of my personal challenges and strengths as a direct result of the unique and deeply insightful ways in which she handles any problem I bring to her. In a few short months my life and outlook has changed tremendously. I had the courage to audition for and consequently booked my first professional gig since my injury, began the process of planning a production of an original composition and have been encouraged by my teacher to seriously consider singing for both national and international auditions next year. If there is a "Vocal Whisperer" Fawn is it.
To be truly understood as a performing artist (and one dealing with a vocal injury while attempting a career, is a rare and amazing experience. Not only is she amazingly well versed in several nutritional, spiritual and physical disciplines but her unique ability to adjust them into a specialized program for your specific situation and personality type make the service she offers invaluable and like nothing else I've ever experienced. Not only is she deeply empathic, compassionate, giving and sympathetic but she is also refreshingly disciplined in her ability to organize you and get to the heart of the matter. She tailors your lessons in a way that makes them easily accessible and memorable. She has the rare ability to inspire you. She never makes you feel judged, she never 'shames' you into compliance (like my other coaches did), but instead Fawn encourages and wins you over with a warm and comforting sense of humor and grace.
I am deeply grateful to have had and continue to have the opportunity to work with such an original, remarkable and talented individual. I can't recommend her highly enough and personally consider my lessons an essential part of a professional vocal career for anyone who wants to sing correctly and safely (and) stay safe, healthy, happy and sane."

Both are related. To understand these concepts deeper, you have to first understand intervals. An interval is the space between two notes. Intervals help to define the relationship and interaction between notes. This also includes the formation of chords. Third Intervals The smallest inter …
