I have been a tuba player for over 7 years now, and throughout that time I has gained a serious passion for teaching others. I am still in high school, only 17 years old, but my accomplishments as a tuba player speak for itself: 7 district superior ratings at solo and ensemble, and 2 state superior ratings. I am willing to travel anywhere in the Port St Lucie-Fort Pierce area. With my experience, rate, and innovative teaching methods, I think my services might just be the best deal in town.

I have been teaching for 10 years in private lessons, music camps, and music clinics in Michigan and the metro DC area. I so enjoy teaching brass students how to gain better control of their musical expression through honing skills in technique, emoting, and general music knowledge. I can assist in preparing for play tests, auditions, solo performances and overall gaining a better grasp of any literature or method material. More than that I love coming together to enjoy playing music and growing as players. I am in awe hearing musical voices develop and become more articulate in expressing how they see the world through music.
A bit about myself, I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in music. I also attended Eastern Michigan University for three years before transferring to Penn State where I finished my degree. I teach trumpet, trombone, and tuba for beginner and intermediate levels and euphonium (B.C. & T.C.) (baritone T.C., baritone B.C.) for all

As a professional brass musician, I have been teaching brass instruments for over twelve years.

For the beginner level, I have introduced many students to their first instrument ensuring that fundamentals are in place. At the intermediate level, I have helped many students advance in competitions and seat assignments within their band program. As a collegiate educator, I have given masterclasses at universities and private lessons to music performance students preparing for auditions and solo recitals.

I have taught online lessons for over four years and have used multiple online communication platforms to teach effective lessons. My students truly enjoy the online interaction during their lessons.

I have taught a wide variety of ages - everyone from 10 years old to 76 years old. One of the great joys I have in teaching is that each student brings their own unique strengths to lessons. My goal is to raise their level of playing while always having fun.
