I have been teaching flute for 24 years and my student all get superiors at solo competitions. I start with the Rubank Method for flute and go on from there. Learning the fundamentals is very important, but we also learn music the student wants to play.

I have really enjoyed practicing with Mr Randall alot. I just graduated from 8th grade and he has helped me become a better Saxophonist. I learned how to play more on tempo, start to use a metronome and beats and how to play new notes. Thanks for sharing with me your time and talent.

I have been playing for years, but in a few hours, James guided me to unlock my full potential. I am very happy with my investment in his classes and I am looking forward to booking another set. Jazz, improv, interpretation were areas I struggled in as I received a very strict classical piano education. The classes are fun and my assignments helped me advance quickly and effortlessly. Highly recommended!

My 6-year old is taking her first lessons of any kind with Mr. Jim. He was very welcoming, got right into the lesson and made her feel very comfortable. It was an easy-going, laid back lesson perfect for her first experience!

My goal as a vocal pedagogue is to create a positive environment in my studio where my students can reach all of the goals that they set out to achieve.  It is important for my students to feel a warm, welcoming atmosphere, where they can make mistakes, take risks, and ask questions. The art of singing is a whole-body experience and it is essential for students to train and practice like an athlete would train for a high-level event.  I encourage my students to do some sort of physical activity that has an emphasis on the abdominal muscles (i.e. yoga, pilates, tai chi, weight routine), so that they feel what it is like to use the whole body as well as strengthen their core muscles. This directly relates to an appoggio based breath support, which is the technique I utilize in my own singing and in my studio.  I teach my students to use their entire body when they sing. I believe that students should practice physicality with gestures, so they can get connected to their whole body and ...

Jamie is a natural teacher of her craft! Her ability to quickly assess and adapt lessons to my daughters’ personalities and preferences of music, as well as her incredibly positive and encouraging demeanor, has made taking voice lessons a great learning experience for both of them. She is very dedicated to finding ways that work for each student to understand how to use their voice and find their breath, and even given the current circumstances of having lessons via FaceTime because of social distancing, the quality and level of expertise of her lessons have not faltered in the least. We are fans!

Jamie's approachable and friendly personality is reflected in her teaching style - she is not afraid to have you try various unconventional techniques that turn out to be super effective and fun! In the year I've been taking lessons with her, my breath support, technique, and vocal range have all improved significantly - so much so that a high note that I found strenuous a year ago is now almost within my comfort range! She is very receptive to different styles of music, and her suggestions are always challenging, fun, and geared towards developing your voice.
Lena
Jamie is a fantastic voice teacher. She is extremely patient and encouraging with me as a beginner. I started with hardly any experience at all, and my singing has already improved significantly after only 8 weeks of lessons. She helped me with song choice and voice repertoire, but is also open to my suggestions. I can highly recommend her for anyone who has been thinking about voice lessons, but has not had the courage to start, even at an older age. Just give it a try!

I focus on building personalized lesson plans that focus on the needs and goals of each unique student. I use a comprehensive approach to teaching which includes songs, theory, technique, improvisation, and composition. This method ensures that my students are not only learning to play guitar, but to make music.

I provide my students with everything they need to succeed. Not only do I provide the student with what to practice, but also how to practice it, and just as importantly why it is important to their learning. When following all instruction given in the lessons, my students progress rapidly, on a week to week basis, and others on a day to day basis.

"Jason is a very nice and patient teacher for the kid, my son loves the class with him very much. Jason also prepares the class based on the kid's progress, it is really helpful even for kid without any previous guitar experience. Jason also communicates with parents well for any schedule change. I would recommend him if anyone is looking for a guitar teacher."

"Grace teaches 2 of my sons and we can’t wait to start the 3rd! She teaches the boys with patience and kindness yet challenges them to try new and harder pieces . If they get stuck during the week they have texted with her to get clarity and she is always quick to respond. She puts together recitals At a retired living community a few times a year to give the kids a place to showcase all they are learning and to bless the residents. The kids learn purpose in their music to help and bless others while listening and being challenged by their peers. We love Grace and highly recommend her!"

"I've been taking voice with Corinne weekly for about 4 or 5 months now. I am not a professional singer or performer, but I was looking to treat myself by doing something just for me. I'm a full-time grad student who works full-time, so I really appreciate my personal, free time. Since I used to sing in high school and college, I decided it would be fun to look into voice lessons, which is how I came to Corinne. Corinne has been such a great addition to my crazy schedule! Considering I am doing this for my own enjoyment rather than professional goals, I let her choose the songs and what to focus on for each lesson, which works so well for me. I enjoy all my lessons and the best part is I get to have fun while improving my voice. I used to do choir and musical theatre years (and years) ago, and it's fun to learn new/different techniques and exercises. She records all the lessons, which is useful to both practice and just hear your own improvement. In short: Corinne is fantastic and I highly recommend seeing her!"

"Excellent, safe and trustworthy.

Josh has been the best guitar teach I have had (I have had three others in the past). He is exceedingly patient, flexible and very knowledgeable about the subject, for both theory and practice.

I have a better understanding of the mechanics, style and technique of classical guitar than I had coming in and have learned some really excellent pieces. Josh works at my pace and understands when work and 'life' interfere with my ability to practice during the week."

"Before we get to Eulis, let’s talk me ;) I am 18 years old, and until about a month ago I had not a bit of experience in singing. At all! YOLO though, so I got online and did the searches, and immediately found Eulis. I read he had some experience performing with Disney and he had some videos of himself singing. I was drawn in by his talent and apparent, very genuine love for voice and music, just as you probably were, in that you are taking the time to read his reviews! Anyways, let me just fill you in to how much more there is to Eulis. Right off the bat, Eulis is an extremely comfortable spirit who gives off a very sincere eagerness to help you in the journey to reaching your vocal potential. Every lesson I have had, I am surprised at how easy it is to develop a skill which forces so much vulnerability from those who try to master it. Eulis creates a completely safe and fun environment in his studio were you can take risks and play with music and your voice. I feel I have his complete dedication and attention in every minute of a lesson, and even through some assignments he gives me to complete independently. Also guys, improvement is fast under Eulis’s direction. In lessons he teaches to condition the entire performer. In other words, equal focus is split between the physicality and techniques of singing and the connection to emotions in music. The combination makes you feel more like a pro than you ever thought you would! Honestly, I could not be more confident that Eulis has the talent to bring out the best of my own. Just book your first lesson to see what I mean. Happy singing!"
