I love to show students how to play the Steel Pan! It is incredibly fun, rewarding, and is a skill you can use to make money in the Tampa Bay Area!

I focus on practical skills, getting songs under your belt and teach you how to learn new music on your own so you can be successful!

If you're looking for a hobby, the Steel Drum is a beautiful instrument that not only sounds wonderful in any home, but is also a great conversation starter with friends and family. Everyone loves the Steel Drum.

About Jessica

Hi! My name is Jessica If you're looking for an enthusiastic teacher who loves her students (and may be a little bit nerdy), look no further! I teach voice, piano, ukulele, and steel drums. Pasta, my dogs, and the color green are all the greatest things in life. Music is a personal journey

Jessica is an amazing teacher! A few months ago I was having trouble learning the ukulele and I decided to start lessons with her. It was a great decision because ever since then I have learned way more than I could on YouTube! She is everything you want in a teacher, so helpful, supportive, fun, easy going, and kind. She has brought me so much further as a player and now I can write songs, have learned 15 of my favorite songs, am learning how to combine my instrument with others on my computer, and understand music so much more than ever. Thank you Jessica:)

Ciao a tutti! Hello everyone! My name is Cindy and I'm Italian. I've been teaching Italian in schools and privately for many years now...I was raised in Rome where I have lived and worked for most of my life.

Do you want to learn Italian in a natural way, outside the bounds of a traditional language school? Studying a foreign language is an absorbing, complex experience.

It involves not only mastering new words, but also gaining a deeper understanding of the culture in which the language is rooted. To achieve this goal I devote all my enthusiasm, my skill at communication, and a sense of humor which makes for a relaxed study environment.

About Cynthia

Are you going on holiday to Italy? Would you like to learn the language? Do you think it is too hard to learn a language as an adult? Do you think you won't have time to study? There are many ways to learn a language. It doesn't have to be all that complicated or hard. Everyone has a personal way to

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the progress our son Thomas made with Dan. Thomas started playing last year and was progressing faster than the rest of his third grade class which is why we were looking for a private teacher to help him along. Before taking lessons with Dan I had a hard time getting Thomas to practice. Thomas has begun practicing all on his own because he has been genuinely inspired. Dan is a true professional who always on time and in a good mood to teach. He was so patient with Thomas and developed practice techniques unique to Thomas's situation. Dan is more than just a violin teacher, he is dedicated to inspiring each student to love music. Thanks Dan!!!

"I'm a shy guy so when I went in for my first lesson I was really scared but my teacher was really kind and five minutes in I had completely forgotten that I was scared, and I learned so much. I went from knowing a very basic introduction to being able to ask for something, and knowing more words and it would take me ages to list off everything I've learned. Amazing teacher!"

"Rosita is a Godsend. One of the most engaging person I have ever met. You can automatically tell that she is actually listening to you. I had several teachers in the past and none of them asked "What I wanted to achieve in a month" I only have had a couple of lessons with her and I'm already speaking Spanish. There is still a lot that I need to learn but the way she teaches is mind-blowing. I highly recommend her."

"I am almost seventy years old. When I thought of traveling to the Middle East, I spent a year trying to learn basic Arabic- I bought books, videos, and even an online program. I spent so much money but couldn't learn it well. I thought maybe I just was not able to because of my age or because it was too difficult.

I saw Aaron's page online by chance and decided to give it one last try. Aaron is so skilled in how he teaches- he is creative and clever and humorous. His patience with me increased my confidence and interest in continuing to learn Arabic even after my trip. After three months of lessons with Aaron, I finally have a grasp on the language and feel comfortable traveling. I look forward to my lessons when I return.

Thank you so much Aaron."

Funny Memes for Learning Spanish

I would never encourage you not to practice grammar or vocabulary, because both are vital to learn to speak Spanish well. However, there is more to learning a language than what you’re going to find in a book. Make sure to take you time to also learn cultural aspects and casual conversation skills. Funny memes and social media can be great ways to enhance learning Spanish, and also entertain you at the same time. Humor is intrinsically tied to culture, so while you learn new jokes or fu …

French Accent Marks & Alt Codes: Ultimate Guide | Take Lessons

French accent marks are an integral part of French writing and correct spelling. Incorrect usage of accent marks, or the absence of them, can cause embarrassing mistakes and frustrating miscommunications. These accent marks may seem like a small inconvenience when writing, but you’ll soon realize how important they are when communicating in French. French students who want to become competent in reading the language must also understand how to use French accent marks. Depending on the …

French Jokes to Make You Laugh

Humor is one of those concepts that is impossible to translate literally. So much more depends on the jokes told than the mere words used. Nuances and cultural context add invisible layers that can trip non-native speakers up. In the past, when I watched humoristes (comedians) with my family and even when I understood the words, often, the punchline fell flat. I’d sit there wondering how those around me were giggling. As time passed, I began to find myself also amused as opposed to bewildered. …
