My lessons are very STUDENT oriented. I teach fundamentals, I teach technique, and I really focus on the instrument placed in front of me. Tone, quality, purity, and health are my main focuses. Classical, opera, jazz, musical theatre, pop, rock, whatever style, that’s what I’ll work with you on and guide you to finding your voice, healthy placement, and get you to the level you want to be at.

About Brandyn

My name is Brandyn, I’m a former vocal performance major and music education major who realized I could do both without going to school for it, so now I’m a nursing major. I started my vocal journey in Nebraska in 5th grade with a select choir and fell in love. Sang all the way through high school

So you want to learn how to sing! Great! I'd love to help you!

I've been singing professionally at Walt Disney World for over 22 years (and still singing there). It is (and has been) a dream job. I sing with The Voices of Liberty at Epcot and The Dapper Dans of Main Street at The Magic Kingdom.

Also, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Penn State with an emphasis in Voice.

I want to help you to sing as musically as you possibly can while maintaining excellent vocal health. I want people to be in "awe" when they hear you sing. Let's get started!

A high-quality studio with a teacher trained by Julliard graduates. I strive to help students achieve goals small and large. I believe establishing proper technique and efficient practicing habits as early as possible opens doors. You don't want to take forever learning pieces and I don't want you to struggle forever. My goals are:
-Provide a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere that inspires growth in and outside of music.
-Inspire a life-long love of music.
-Provide optional performance and competition opportunities in the community.
-Develop a work ethic that blends with other areas of life.
-Most importantly, we have fun at this studio! (We may have a pool party social event for the kids but no promises just yet.)

About Grace

Started piano at 5, as many piano teachers do. I studied with Rowan University piano faculty at age 15 when I decided to focus my studies solely on piano. While working on my degree at Brigham Young University, I took lessons in Vienna, Austria with faculty at the University of Vienna and the Vienn

I believe in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere between teacher and student that promotes the optimal mindset for the student to progress, and to believe in themself.

Technique-wise, there will be lots of work on intonation, tone production, and accuracy of rhythms!

Musically, I like to ask the student for their own ideas, and offer my input afterwards. Music is an expressive art, and the teacher's job is to help the student best express themselves.

I tend to let students play everything that they have practiced for me before making comments. Using my tablet, I notate all ideas and corrections on a pdf version of your music, and email the pdf to you after the lesson.

About Josiah

I am currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Oklahoma, where I am on fellowship as a violinist in the resident graduate string quartet, the Crouse Quartet. In addition, I serve as co-concertmaster of the University of Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra. Regarding the teaching sph

Learn while only playing songs you love! I will always keep an eye on technique - and I'm happy to help you learn to read, learn how to follow chord charts, play by ear, or all three - but I believe students should never look at it as homework. Piano has been a best friend since I started playing 40+ years ago and I love sharing it. So we only learn through your favorite songs. I've been teaching for 25 years, have performed with 8 Grammy winning acts, and have composed for much film, TV, and internet - from Spike Lee to MTV to major film studios. I was classically trained, accepted into conservatory while still in high school, and started playing in bands when I was 12 :) I also teach guitar, singing, and songwriting. I have taught junior high, high school, and college English and writing. I have taught special needs kids. I also work as a book author and screenwriter - but I love teaching and always enjoy having students. Pop, rock, reggae, R&B, classical - you name it, I can help! ...

About Scott

Learn to play by ONLY playing songs you love! I started playing classical piano at age 6. Piano lessons were a bit dry so, once I could, I started playing my favorite songs on my own, out of songbooks and by ear. 45 years later, piano has probably saved me a ton on therapy :) And, it's helped me m

Hello,
Thank you for visiting my profile.
I started learning Tabla when I was 5 and still remember vividly when mum took me to classes 3 times a week for several hours. I used to sit, listen and play with my classmates during those hours and that experience has left an indelible mark. My fingers are 'hard-wired' to play and create sounds on the tabla. Every teacher will tell you, in order to play properly and create perfect sounds, everyday practice is the essential component.

Currently, I teach 17 students at BAPS temple in Edison and have been teaching there for the last 6 years.
I also have 3 students who visit my home weekly.

Please contact me for additional information.
Thank you.

About Dhwani

Tabla is a language which a tabla performer conveys with crisp, clear sounds for the audience to listen to and feel at one with. Essentially, the rhythm of the universe should resonate when a shishiya (student) or guru (teacher) play tabla either for a crowd or in a room. I learned tabla from gur

"extremely knowledgeable, patient, and fun

Loretta is an awesome music teacher. She is fun, patient, and encouraging and has such a love of music and a gift for imparting her knowledge to her students, even her youngest ones.

My 10-year-old son has been taking voice lessons with Loretta for about a year now. His lesson is usually the highlight of his week. He really likes it that Loretta always lets him choose the songs he learns to sing.

A couple months ago, we added piano to his lessons, which my son really enjoys. Just a couple weeks ago, he joined his school band and is now learning to play saxophone. He has been able to apply so much of what Loretta has taught him on piano to his saxophone lessons.

We started out taking lessons in Loretta's home studio, but then transitioned to Skype, which is very convenient because it eliminates travel time. I recommend either live or Skype lessons with Loretta. She is the best!"

"I’ve tried countless amounts of online exercises which took 3x the effort and strain for poor result. Gabriels lessons go over many unique exercises that are geared for your specific vocal. Throughout 2 months, I’ve learned many new training techniques for my voice, while learning how the vocals operate, allowing myself to become self aware of what’s going on throughout each exercise. Gabriel gives his 110% in every lesson, is informative and very easy to talk to."

"Jimmy is a great instructor. He takes you seriously no matter what you skill or knowledge level is. When I started with Jimmy I could play guitar but generally only Cowboy chords.

Jim was patient, he analyzed how I played , what I knew and he tailored lessons around what I knew. That way I got the most out of my time and money spent. I can go on and on about Jimmy but for you sake I'll just say that I highly recommend him"
