I look at the pursuit of musicianship as a holistic process. In the first lesson, we establish your goals to help me be a more efficient teacher for you. I find it deeply fulfilling to research new techniques that will benefit my students and teach from material that is grounded in voice science and pedagogy. A typical lesson will involve reinforcement of healthy technique, music theory study, refining repertoire, and creative exploration such as improvisation or songwriting. I urge all of my students to use mindfulness to deepen their joy of music and actively advocate that the study of music can lead to a more conscientious and emotionally intelligent society.

He specializes in modern music formats, Pop, Rock, Country and Theater. He believes in teaching by singing songs accompanied by developmental exercises for breathing, power, range and endurance.
